Located on the shores of Sydney Creek, a tributary of the renowned Montreal River, Golden Eagle Camp offers more than just an incredible view of the Northern Ontario wilderness and landscape. Nestled in the splendor of a jack pine and spruce forest, we provide all the services and facilities necessary for avid anglers, hunters, snowmobilers, ATV riders and family vacationers to enjoy the perfect outdoor getaway.
Golden Eagle Camp is a four season vacation resort that captures the image in your mind of a wonderful Northern escape. We have 10 fully equipped cottages offering a choice of rustic log cabins or a modern new cottages. All are fully equipped with 3-4 piece baths, hot and cold running water, woodstoves, BBQ's, cooking and eating utensils, and modern electric appliances including microwave, fridge, stove, and coffeemaker - with bed linens supplied ... all you need to bring are your towels. Or stay at our boat-in only outpost cabin for the ultimate in solitude and serenity.

The combinations are endless, from pan size to trophy sized Walleye, Northern Pike and Smallmouth Bass, with miles of scenic shore lines and remote lakes to explore. By casting, trolling, jigging or fly fishing - you'll get hooked on our fishery!

Situated in prime upland game terrain, we have high success rates with our professionally organized black bear hunting as well as moose and grouse hunting . We do the work ... you have a relaxing hunt and vacation!
Ride in the Extreme Wilderness!
Ride your ATV or sled right from the resort and explore the variety of terrains and endless miles of trails. The L138 trail connects the camp to the C106A, and since the groomer is stored here, the trail is very well maintained. Fuel available onsite. You can explore for days and still not see it all!
Take advantage of our safe beach and swimming area, complete with 60 foot water slide, large water trampoline and playground equipment! Excellent boat launching and docking facilities, public washrooms with showers, laundry room, and sauna. Our general store provides bait, fishing tackle, clothing, basic grocery items and gifts along with fishing and hunting licenses for residents and non-residents.

Bring your own or rent one of our 2014 Kodiaks! At Golden Eagle Camp, you’re surrounded by hundreds of acres of Crown Land and endless miles of old logging roads and bush trails. There's ... moreno need to trailer anywhere – just park your ATV in front of your cottage and take off for a self-guided adventure. Fuel is available onsite and no trail permits are required. Roads and trails are unmarked, bring your GPS or just wing it and see what you can discover. You can explore for days and still not see it all!
2014 Yamaha Kodiak 450 ATVs are available for ½ day, daily, or weekly rentals. They come equipped with four-wheel drive, independent rear suspension, power steering, winch, gun rack, and 2-up seat. Helmets are included; we have many different sizes and styles to choose from.
Your ride is self-guided, so you can go wherever you wish...whenever you wish…always at your own speed. We can assist in pointing you in the right direction and planning your day's adventure. The terrain consists of dry sand, mud bogs, water crossings and rocky areas, so you can ride easy or challenge yourself to a more difficult route. Take your fishing rod and try your luck in the unspoiled back lakes that few can access. Ride deeper in the bush to increase your hunting opportunities. We offer 14 full service hookups for RV’s, trailers or camping. Beautiful waterfront view! Daily, weekly and seasonal rates available. There is a clean shower house, laundry, and freezer available nearby. Bring your own boat, or rent one of our motor boats, canoes, or kayaks.

When renting a boat or motor, you will be asked to sign a Boat Safety Rental Agreement outlining your responsibilities as boat operator. We will review the operation of the boat with you and provide you with a map of our waterway. A Pleasure Craft Operator Card (or Canadian Boating License) is not required when renting a boat. No jet skis or ski boats are allowed.

Nestled on the tranquil ... moreshores of Sydney Lake and accessible only by boat, it provides a peaceful and private atmosphere - being the only cabin on the entire lake.
Forget those high priced Fly In trips - it's all right here - at a fraction of the price !
For fishing, hunting, or just a quiet retreat, it's all at your door step during your stay. The Outpost Cabin can sleep up to 6 with 2 sets of single bunk beds and a pull-out sofa. Although there’s no electricity or running water, there is a sink, a propane stove/oven, a dining table with chairs, a woodstove, an outhouse, and a BBQ on the front porch. A boat and motor are included in our weekly Outpost package. Please bring your own sleeping bags and lanterns. Just come back to the main camp for a shower, laundry, ice, bait, or other supplies.
