Description
Our hunt is conducted on an individual or pre-arranged party basis.   We give each hunter the personal service and attention needed to provide a good quality hunt.
Camp Horizon is located 40 miles Northwest of North Bay, 2 miles off Highway 575.  We hunt W.M.U.41.
Self Managed Hunt includes:
Fully equipped cottage.
Orientation on area maps as to boundaries and known locations where moose are normally found.
Guided tour of area covering lake and back road networks.
Lodge facilities and Northern Hospitality.
Included in above plan:
Full 7 day hunt.
Each party had own private cottage.
Assistance with hanging and skinning.
Arrangements for butchering and wrapping of your meat.
We are always available to answer any questions you may have.

Weather

Probably cool, possible snow.  Bring boots, warm clothing, waterproof suits.  There will be no black flies or mosquitoes to bother you.

  • Licences NOT available at Lodge. You must produce a valid hunting licence. Each member of the group hunting moose must have a valid moose licence. Hunters receive a calf tag when they purchase their licence.
  • Reservations for Self Managed Hunt: $300.00 deposit per cottage

Cancellation Policy
Standard Policy
  • Cancellations made 30 days before will be fully refunded except for a service fee of 3%.
  • Cancellations made 15 days before will be refunded 50% of the amount paid.
  • Cancellations made at a later date will not be refunded.
