You are bidding on these 2 estate found. Fly fishing rod& reel combo kits. I don't know the exact age, but they are vintage. I purchased all of the fellows fishing rods, but I don't fly fish at all. The red colored reel is a Martin# 81 Automatic Mohawk reel, that is mounted on a Martin"Tuffy" rod.The rod is around 9' long, and the recoil on the reel does work very well. The trigger on the reel needs cleaned up, it is kinda rusty looking, but works well and looks as though it will clean up. The green reel is a"Mohawk-Horrocks-Ibbotson" Co, Utica-NY#1106. It works very well, but there is no griese in the gears, and does need to be griesed. The rod is is just marked"3500 F G 7' All eyelets are in place and seems to be solid. Thanks for looking.

9 foot Cortland fly rod with a Okuma Integrity 1 7/8 reel and mountain cork case
Cortland all graphite GRF-1000. This rod is as smooth and accurate as ANY rod I have ever had my hands on. It is a slow action that would be closest to the Superfine by Orvis or the G series by Scott but in my opinion. Smoother and better casting than either one of them. This is a 6/7 weight rod. The rod comes complete with an Okuma integrity 1 7/8 reel with line. It also comes and an Okuma fly six compartment fly box with spring loaded glass lids on each compartment. This rod comes with its own Mountain Cork hard rod case with a compartment for your fly box, extra line or spare reel etc. Perfect shape with very little use. This whole outfit looks pretty new. Vintage Fishing Montague Fly Rod & Reel 9 Feet 4 Inches Long With Cloth Case
Up for auction is a vintage Montague Redwing 9 foot 4 inch fly rod from the 50s or early 60s. It is in a canvas case that has a tear in it about 2 1/2 inches long and 3/4 inch wide. The pole comes in 3 pieces with an extra 3rd piece as shown in pictures 1.5,6, and 7. I know nothing about fishing poles so I took this one to a sporting goods store and was advised that it is a very old pole in very good condition. There is nothing broken on the pole and all of the parts are there. The adjustment screw for the drag(whatever that is) is missing on the reel. He said that many of these poles were produced in the 50s and 60s and they aren't particularly rare, except this one, although its been used,is in great condition. He also said that many times the tips break off the pole. Has a few marks here and there but nothing that compromises performance. Next is favorite of the Martin reels. It is a Martin 67SS-A. Comes in original box.Holds a 5 or 6 line great. Has a few marks.
