These are awesome reels and are getting very collectabe now. This is one of the most popular ones. The Millionaire 5HS. It is brown with gold stripes and gold lettering. Cosmetically. They don't come much better, has some minor scuffs on the shoulders. The chrome is in great condition as well, very little scuffs and no brass showing. All in all, it is in a lot better condition than a lot I have seen. 2 bearing. Star Drag, spool tension knobs on both sides, push button cast, high speed. Rod. The rod is in spectacular condition for it's age. An awesome addition to your collection. The handle has a couple minor scratches. But basically thats all the defects I can see. The Suick is approx. 9" long. The Mepps is approx 5" long measuring to the treble hook, the Buchertail is about 6 1/2" and the other two baits are about 7 1/2" All lures look in good condition showing little use and wear. The tackle box has a couple small scratches but is in very good condition.

The worms in these sandwich bags actually came from a variety of companies i.e. Mann's and Pee-Wee. They were in another tackle box which was dropped and shattered beyond use. Vintage UMCO 173U Tackle box, Very good condition
Photo is actual item in auction. Condition would be excellent if not for some cracking in a few places in the black tray liners. Even that is not excessive. The box itself and hinges. Handle and latch are excellent. Note the spare reel holding bracket to the right in the top of the box. This box measures 17 x 6-1/2 x 6-1/2 inches. It is constructed of light but very strong fiberglass with anodized aluminum hardware. State of the art for it's time. Very good condition for over fifty years old. This was the go-to tackle box in the late fifties on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi. It withstood the salt water better than anything else available and was exceptionally well constructed. Up for bidding is this vintage JC HIGGINS Tackle Box that was made for Sears Roebuck& Co. back in the 1950's. The top tray has a unique patented tray. Made to hold lures with treble hooks. It flips up to put lures in or take them out and when down allows for storage underneath it. The tackle box is made of Aluminum and has some bents and the paint shows signs of wear.See photo's for details. It's 16" long x 8" wide and 7" high. There is a Key included. As the tackle box has a lock on the front. The key seems to fit, but the lock doesn't work. With a little oil and cleaning it should resolve this minor issue.
