Up for auction is the"Fish-Lock" by Trenton Specialties out of Trenton. Michigan. Apparently this was meant to be used as a gripper or fish grabber. Made of steel and chrome plated. The one hook or arm is fixed or nonmovable while the other you can move to close the jaws. This is the only one I have ever seen. Trenton, Mi. is sometimes considered S.E. Michigans Walleye capital. Lot of fishing tool items includes a Langley Fisherman's D-Liar hanging fish scale and measuring tape. Front has weights in lbs and Kg. And goes from 0 to 12 kg's, and 0 to 28 lbs. It says"Langley Fisherman's De-Liar- San Diego, Calif. Made in U.S.A. Pat. Pend. on the front. The measuring tape goes to about 45" There is some discoloration on the tape, but it is in working order. Also included in the listing is a lot of 3 graphite spool- One Touch Snap-Off Spools. They all have some fishing line on them, with one being held with a rubber band. They each have a tiny sticker on top, apparently placed there by the previous ower. The stickers say 100, 2, and 6/10. Length as shown is about 3.5" When I pulled hard on the scale. The highest number I saw was 15, and I believe that was the end. Although it looks a little rough on the surface, it seems to work fine. I did not test it for weight accuracy. If you catch anything in fresh water that is over 15 pounds, you will have to wait to weigh it when you get home. No doubt it spent some time in a fish creel or tackle box. But, it works!

ANTIQUE/VINTAGE/OLD FISH/MEAT/INDUSTRIAL SCALE WITH WEIGHTS AND HOOKS
Offered is a scale and various accessories that I believe were used to weigh fish or meats. Either in a butcher store or on fishing docks. The pieces seem very old as can be seen by the rust on them. All the pieces appear to be complete. I'm not sure if they all go together as they were scattered in an old garage. There are 2 scales, one is the large round one which is 8" in diameter and was made by the PENN SCALE MFG. CO. PHILADELPHIA while the other is a small, no name one. The 4 weights have no name on them either. The large J hook appears to have a ruler embossed in to it. A mentioned, all the pieces have some rust on them, but nothing that really takes away from the look of them, it gives them a nice sort of patina. The item is a early version which is die-cast metal and was produced by Langley Corporation Manufacturers of San Diego. California. The item is in remarkable condition for its age and usage. The item which carries the model number 228 shows little wear if any other than the typical wear expected from many years in storage. There is a small paint chip in one of the upper corners. Refer to photo showing this. The original box is included which is missing a bottom flap yet the graphics are still clear. The pocket scale type also features a 42” long tape rule which appears to have never been used. The scales ... moreweighing capacity is 28 pounds. Many of these Langley pocket scales have been listed on eBay and we believe that this is an exceptional piece as well as nostalgic to collectors as it’s an all metal version.
