The top of the tackle box has a checkered pattern and brown handle, and inside is comes with 3 tiered and segmented trays that can be folded up It has seen a lot of use in its day. The whole exterior has wear, the inside and the trays are in good shape, the trays have no trouble folding out and back in, and the front buckle clasp is still very secure! Painted Green with Yellow& Red accents. The lid is hinged, there are straps on all 4 corners 2 each. The hasp, as well as all the metal straps, look very primitive and hand cut. The hand cut metal Fish on top of the lid are attached with the nails as the eyes, hammered down. This is an early piece and shows signs of wear from much use, chippy paint aging patina. This bag is in excellent condition. There is a small spot on the back that I am pretty sure had nothing to do with use. It's hardly noticeable and I am sure could be cleaned.
