American Plan ACCOMMMODATION Our clean comfortable cabins are equipped with private 3 pc bath, electric heat, refrigerators, ranges, coffee maker and microwave. Also provided are dishes, ... morepots, pans, utensils, liquid detergent, kitchen towels, pillows and linens. There are 16 cabins to choose from, ranging from 1 to 4 bedrooms.Charcoal barbecue, a picnic table and free firewood for use in the fire pits.
MEALS
American Plan package - dinner on arrival day, breakfast on departure day. Non alchololic drinks provided with dining room meals only (by law we can not include Liquor). A prepared shore lunch or boxed sandwich are also available. Ice for cooling drinks.
FISHING BOAT
A 16' Legend boat (new in 2004), equipped with 25 hp e-start Mercury Motor and live well (all gas and oil included) plus life jackets. Bring your fishing tackle, pick you your live bait and your all set for a day out on the French River.
Live bait, worms or minnows (no minnows during the hot summer weeks) for the great fishing at the French River.
Use of the fish cleaning hut and fish freezing facilities at Wolseley Lodge also included.
Our Rates are based on a minimum of 2 guest per booking with a minimum stay of 2 nights, or 3 nights on long weekends. In July and August we rent on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday only.

Child Rate is Applicable only when 2 Full Bookings ((2 in 1 boat) in same cabin and boat) are made.

Wild Goose Lake is approximately 14 miles long with clear, clean waters which give up many good walleye, northern pike, perch, and whitefish each year. You’ll enjoy the quiet, peaceful ... morefishing with little competition for the better fishing spots. There are numerous other remote lakes I the area for additional fishing adventures. Many of these lakes are only a short distance away and easy to get to.
Here at Wild Goose Lake Resort we have many hidden treasures. Like a 7 year old boy catching a 22” northern pike off our dock the first day he is here on his second cast, yelling, “Dad, Dad what do I do with it now?” Or finding a deep hot spot on the lake with a fish finder which turns black with so many fish on the screen.
Did we mention our boats on the outlakes? Have you ever fished for splake, blue walleye, brook trout or bass? We have them all within an hour drive of our home base.

Our UPGRADE boat is a 16-foot Princecraft with 40 hp electric start engine, bow mount trolling motor, fish locator, live well, flat floor and pedestal seats. Boat packages include up to 6 gallons of gas per day, landing net, paddles, minnow bucket and prices are based on at least two adults per boat.
Weekly rates begin and end on Saturday

Season:
Mid of August until end of October 2014. Spring Bear Hunt to be introduced back, soon.
Length of hunts:
7 days hunt, usually arrival Saturday afternoon, departure the following Saturday morning. Sunday hunting is permitted.
Hunts:
Hunting over baited locations which are reached with your own vehicle. These locations are from one to forty miles from the Lodge via forest access roads.
Guiding:
We work together with a very experienced guide, a skilled black bear hunter himself. He has been born and raised in the area and is familiar with every inch of our Bear Management Area!
ATV’s:
Due to the road conditions at certain areas, ATV’s would ease their accessibility. Please advise, if you would like to rent one of ours or if you intend to bring your own.
Fishing:
As prime hunting times for Black Bear are early morning and late aftrernoon through early evening one of our 16' Lowe boats with 15hp yamaha motor is included in the package. One boat per cottage!

All Cottages have maps with the best areas to locate the types of fish you are looking for as well as tips, fishing trends and relevant articles that apply directly to our end of the lake. We have also added a pontoon boat for lager groups that want to stay together, When you bring your catch in, clean it in our modern fish cleaning hut, to preserve your fillets until you’re ready to go home, ask us about our free freezer service.
The North West Bay has long been known for it’s excellent spring Walleye fishing but did you know that the Bass (smallmouth & largemouth) and Northern Pike abundance is second to none. We have the perfect conditions for these species to flourish. No matter what time of year it is, there are always great fishing opportunities for you to put your angling skills to work.
Book now for your chance to fish on one of Ontario’s most productive Muskie fishery. The West side of Nipissing has produced some of the largest Muskies anywhere. With 45″ to 47″ lenghts being common. Several 50″ and up have also been been recorded.
