Island Outpost Camp is a boat-to outpost camp located 15 miles south of the main lodge in the area of the lake called the Ivanhoe River.... more
The outpost is located on a beautiful 4-acre island and surrounded by some of the most spectacular scenery in the area.
The fishing in this part of the lake is awesome. You will have access to many miles of shoreline with really interesting structure, which attracts big fish. Walleye, Northern Pike and Jumbo Perch are all common and easy to catch. In the spring there is a good population of Whitefish in the area. Island Outpost Camp is an older cabin but still clean and comfortable. The cabin is equipped with the following amenities:

Coonies Outpost Camp is a boat-to cabin located about 20 miles south of the lodge and in the narrows, which is known as the Ivanhoe River. This area is beautiful and has excellent ... morefishing for Walleye, Northern Pike and Jumbo Perch. In the spring there is a high population of Whitefish in the area.
This is a fairly new outpost cabin and is very specious with three bedrooms, equipped kitchen and living area. It sleeps up to 8 people comfortably. This cabin is fully equipped with running hot and cold water, inside shower and bathroom facilities.
It will be very hard to find a remote outpost cabin with the comforts and accessibility to great fishing like Coonies Outpost Camp

Northern Ontario has one of the highest concentrations on Moose in Canada. We are located at the most northern point that roads reach in Ontario so we are very close to massive populations ... moreof Moose.
From our location, we have access to hundreds of miles of wilderness trails, old logging roads, streams, rivers and marshes where Moose are constantly seen. Our experienced guides know where to go so you can get your Moose.
Our Moose hunt takes place in WMU 30 and WMU 31. Our Moose hunting guests enjoy an extremely high success rate with many large Bulls and Cows being harvested. We also offer resident hunters accommodations with their own adult tags.
Our guides assist with retrieval and field dressing. There is a local butcher that can process the meat for you.

You get to see the beautiful fall colors, breathe in that crisp clean air and get some good exercise.
We do not have an organized Grouse Hunt. Hunters just pay the regular cabin rental rates. You will have to check with us to see if any cabins are open because grouse hunting season overlaps our Black Bear hunt and Moose hunt, which is a very busy time of year for us.

Due to our remote northern location and the vast amounts of wilderness to the north, our bear hunters see wolves at the feeding stations.

Those wishing to bring their own boats and motors, or parties that don't require their full allocation of boats and motors can deduct $100.00 per person. Docking will be provided at no charge, but gas will be extra.
There is an additional fee of $10/day or $50/week per pet.
Add 50% to all rates if only one person occupies a unit.
Rates DO NOT INCLUDE applicable taxes, gratuities or fishing license.
Package plans are based on 2 or 3 adults sharing a boat, example (5 adults = 2 boats, 6 adults = 3 boats).
If you are staying in a Deluxe Cottage (Cabins #17, #18, #19) and have only two guests, the cabin will cost an additional $300.00.
Reservation Info:
A reservation deposit of $150.00 per person is required on 7-night trips, or $100.00 per person on 3-night or 4-night trips. If you must cancel your reservation and notify us at least 90 days prior to your arrival we will apply your full deposit on any date open later in the year, or the following year. If you prefer an immediate refund a 25% administration fee will be deducted. If you must cancel within 90 days of your reservation there will be no refund of your deposit.

Black bear hunting is a real challenge to the sportsman, where you have an excellent chance to match wits and abilities with those of the elusive Black Bear. We hunt in one of the ... moremost productive areas in Ontario. The Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources rates our region as excellent for Black Bear Hunting. We have an excellent success rate and will give references upon request. WHAT'S INCLUDED IN YOUR HUNT:
Seven days hunting over an active bait. (We start baiting for our hunters 4 weeks before your arrival.)
First day orientation to site, guided to your baited area for Bear Hunting. Transportation to your baited area is by 4 wheel all-terrain vehicles (ATVs). Please bring your own ATV. We also have 2 baits that you can drive-to by your truck and 1 baited area you can get to by boat.
Freezers to freeze items for your trip home.
Fully equipped housekeeping cottage
Fishing is included, with boat and motor with gas supplied.
