Camp Horizon is year round vacation camp located on Lake Muskosung, just 40 miles Northwest of North Bay. Situated amidst the beautiful forests of Ontario's Near North Vacationland, Camp Horizon is perfectly suited for a quiet family getaway, or for the avid outdoors sportsman to enjoy.
Camp Horizon offers full Housekeeping Plan or Housekeeping - the choice is yours. Fresh baked bread and home-made baking are available daily. Within a short drive of the camp are many things to do and see from cruises on Lake Nipissing to snowmobiling on beautiful groomed trails. Combine all of this with great Northern hospitality and you have all the ingredients for a truly memorable holiday. As well as some of the greatest fishing you can imagine - largemouth and smallmouth bass, pickerel (walleye), northern pike, muskie and perch, we offer fall bear hunts, moose hunts and small game hunting.

Fish for largemouth and smallmouth bass, northern pike, pickerel (walleye), muskie and perch. The camp is surrounded by Crown land; there is not a lot of boat traffic or heavy fishing pressure on the lake - result, fishing is great!
Hunt for bear, moose and small game. We limit the number of hunters per week to ensure good service and a good quality hunt.
Nestled among the trees, overlooking the lake, our two and three bedroom housekeeping cottages are fully equipped with all the comforts of home; electric orpropane heat. We supply all the bed linens, as well as cooking and eating utensils. Each cottage has a coffee maker, microwave and a propane B.B.Q.
Boats and motors are available for rent - daily, weekly or by the hour, to suit your needs. We also have pontoon boats, canoes, kayaks and pedal boats.
The camp has a store, groceries, confectionery, souvenirs, gas, licenses and home baking. We offer full Housekeeping Plan or Housekeeping - the choice is yours.
During the summer months we have organized activities for the children. Combine the above features with natural sand beach, games room, movies, sauna, mini putt, horseshoes, basketball, hiking trails andNORTHERN HOSPITALITY, and you have all the ingredients for a holiday experience you will always remember.

Weather as a rule is fairly pleasant with cool nights. It can be unpredictable so we suggest you bring a weather proof suit.

Follow the Sturgeon River on a one day trip to adventure. We take you twelve miles up river. Fish, swim, relax and enjoy the quiet beauty of Canada's north. Follow the river to Field, where you will be picked up and returned to Camp.
