This rod was only used 3-4 times for trout fishing. In near-brand new condition. The 10 ft length allows for great line management when indicator, and dry fly fishing. I'm selling it with Rio's 6wt indicator line. Don't let the name fool you this line has a heavy enough shooting head to toss streamers, but still enough finesse for dry fly fishing. I'm pairing the rod with this line simply because it casted the best, and loaded the rod the best out of the other lines tried. This 10 ft 5wt is extremely fun to fight fish on, and the action provides enough punch to get a fly on the other side of the river, but still soft enough to protect light tippet. Anyone that has used this rod knows that it is the Cadillac of mid priced switch rods performing like the most expensive switch rods on the market. It has amazingly crisp casting action and a nice stiff upper section for drift fishing. Yet easily protects light tippet. Casting is concise. And a bit faster than with a longer rod. Once you get the timing down, however, the CPX Switch rod will feel like a spey rod of typical length and you will not be giving up anything in medium-length casting distance. It appears to have a bit better accuracy on casts, and it is very easy to overhead cast and put the fly in the bucket. After all, isn’t that the reason why we buy all this equipment? Men's Redington long sleeve fishing shirt with vented back size XXL 2XL
This auction is for a men's Redington brand long-sleeve fishing shirt with vented back. Size XXL. It is khaki-colored, and it is in excellent condition with no holes or tears. The only fault is a small stain on the back that I haven't been able to get out. It's only about 1/4 of an inch long and it's not much darker than the shirt itself, so it's not overly noticeable. It really just looks like a small wet spot. I've tried to show it in a couple of the accompanying photos. Aside from that, the shirt could easily pass for new. Thanks for looking.
