Up for auction are two 6 pound downrigger weights and lot of various trolling tackle. This would be a great set up for a smaller boat or for lighter tactics. Tackle is geared toward Kokanee and Trout fishing. The weights are used and they work very well. One wei ght is chrome the other is black. Both have waterproof reflective tape. They can be used vertically or horizontally. They have an aluminum fin that allows them to track through the water very nicely. When used horizontally they have a soft side to side swimming action that can throw a slightly different action into whatever set up your pulling. This is about 5 7/8" high and is made of cast aluminum for strength and durability and as you can see it has a cannon ball holder. The top and bottom mounting surfaces are about 4"x4" and you can mount this right onto your mounting plate and your Big Jon downrigger will mount right on the top. This is in good condition but does have some scuf/scratches from use and being in a box of other fishin items. 4 Good Used 8 Ft. 6 In. Downrigger Fishing Rods 3 Are Daiwa & 1 Is Silstar
All are in Good Plus to Very Good. Used condition. Nothing wrong with any of them. All are two-piece rods and measure 8 ft. 6 in. when put together. The three Daiwas look a little grubby, especially on the cork handles. The handles are in very good condition and just need a good cleaning. No chunks missing or damage to those handles. The Silstar is a graphite rod with padded handles. Model No. 1200-86DR. No damage to the padding. On all rods, all parts such as the butt caps, handles, guides, wrappings, etc. are all original and secure. The logos on the blanks of the Daiwas have faded off, probably from the sun, weather and age. All three are identical. They’re older than the Silstar but are as strong as can be. You will find the Daiwa logos on the reel seat areas. The next owner might want to dab the ferrule areas on the Daiwas with a little ... moreoil so they fit together and come apart more easily. Hopefully. The photos will say the rest. I see no reason that the winning bidder will be disappointed. They will serve you well. All four rods sported Penn 210 Conventional reels that I removed and sold separately. They were used on Lakes Superior and Michigan. Use them in fresh or saltwater. They do not come with the bases. Both have Weight retrievers. One has a chip out of the rod holder. The brake works well and both appear to have at least 150' of Stainless Steel Cable that is in very good condition. Both Line Counters appear to be functional. They may be a little dirty and may need some cleaning. I will remove some parts for ease of shipping. So some assembly may be required. 2 Used St. Croix 4006-MH-AR 8’6” Trolling Fishing Rods Outrigger Downrigger
Both are used and both are identical. Both are Medallion models. Both have roller guides and roller tip tops. Both are two-piece rods. Both have mars. Rubs and scratches on the blanks. Both rods are missing the butt caps and one has a couple of chunks missing from the cork handles. Nothing too serious) They are very usable just the way they are. The fore grips are fine. All of the cork handles and fore grips are dirty and will clean up easily with a coarse rag and warm, soapy water. That’s up to the next owner. Butt caps and new cork handles are available on eBay and through a reputable rod repair person. I recommend to the next owner to apply some kind of lubricant to the male and female ferrules before putting them together. I did apply a touch of vegetable(cooking) oil and that did help a lot. I see nothing wrong with any of the roller ... moreguides. You can mount a conventional or a HD spinning reel onto these. A label on each says that they were made, but not limited to, Salmon, Trout and Steelhead fishing. Photos should say the rest. BIG JON DOWNRIGGER 6" RISER SWIVEL BASES WITH ANGLED MOUNTING BRACKETS
Nice addition to any downrigger. This pair of 6" risers will help get your riggers up to the right height. These do swivel and lock in various positions to stagger your fishing rods. They come with an additional angled mounting bracket that is made of welded aluminum. If you don't need the bracket. It can be unbolted easily. These are fairly old risers, but they are built very heavy and could be cleaned up and polished. They were painted silver from the factory and the paint is worn and scratched. Functionally they work great. I got them with some riggers I bought and I simply don't have a use for them.
