Here are a set of WORKING Big Jon electric downriggers. They have a longer boom. You can see the total length of the entire downrigger in one of the pictures. I recently purchased a boat that these were mounted on so I don't know much about them. I did connect a 12lb. cannon ball to each rigger and hit the switch up and down a few times. The motors are strong and worked like they should. One of them looks like it may have been worked on by the mounting base due to some ding marks in the picture. The springs on the line counters look fairly new as does the big swivels at the boom tips. One rigger has the normal steel cable and the other has a coated cable which I believe would be for a depth/temp sensor unit. There also was a Big Jon auto stop on the boat but was not attached to either rigger. I'll throw that in too. These are not ... morenew downriggers. They have some scratches. Dings, and everything is not"like new" perfect but they work as they should to my and the previous owner's knowledge. On Feb-27-13 at 08:32:13 PST. For bid is this used Big Jon Electric Downrigger w/ Rod Holder SS-Line& Counter trolling fishin fish. This is made by Big Jon. It has Stainless line on it that may need to be replaced as i see some freying on a couple spots. Im not sure how much is on there but i would think still enough for use after cutting off the bad spots(wanted you to know) It has a line counter but the band/belt is missing but can be purchased from Big Jon or Big Jon dealer or maybe even on Ebay. I did hook this to 12 volt before listing and it does work. This is about 22" from the center of the reel to the end of the boom. This Big Jon Downrigger I would say is good condition and would be good to have for your fishin seasons, and to mention again that the line counted needs a band/belt and the SS wire has a couple bad spots. I will remove the rod holder and ... morepack it secure with the downrigger for shipping. Buyer pays the shipping.U.S.P.S. US only.
