These are fairly old risers, but they are built very heavy and could be cleaned up and polished. They were painted silver from the factory and the paint is worn and scratched. Bert's Adjustable Swivel Base is made of weather resistant aluminum, corrosion resistant stainless steel and UV stable plastics. This product is made for both fresh water and salt water. For strength we use metal plates to back the bearings. The positive gear lock system is unique in that the swivel base swings free when you pull the lever and remains free until you release it. When released, the pin locks in the center of a tapered gear tooth that is machined into the swivel base. The gear tooth form has tapered walls so that the pin locks on the sidewalls of the gear and doesn't bottom out. Operate smoothly and ready for use. Include hardware to mount the Mag 10/ older LARGE BODY Uni-troll downriggers to the swivel. You will need to shorten the screws or buy shorter ones if mounting Easi-Troll or Uni-Troll HP bases to these. They are in good physical condition and look nice. Up for sale. A used pair of two Penn ASM 622 swivel bases. These are the superior 36 point, 360 degree bases! Units include base plate mounting screws. And some hardware for mounting to the boat. You can expect to provide at least some nuts + washers of your own for that part. Units appear to work as intended. Swivel smoothly and lock in place when desired. I don't know exactly what happened. But there is missing plastic in the centers of both on their undersides. This is how I received them and how they have been used. Walker Downrigger Swivel Bases Two with mounting base and hardware
Up for auction are two Walker Downrigger Swivel bases with mounting plate and mounting bolts. The bases have been disassembled. Sand blasted and repainted because the original paint was really thin and falling off. When they were disassembled the roller bearings were degreased and re-greased with Superlube grease. The center mounting bolt threads were cleaned and the bolt was reassembled with Loctite Blue. They are all set and ready to go fishing. Cannon Downrigger Gimbal Swivel Bases
You are bidding on a pair of Cannon Downrigger big body swivel bases mounted on 9" 30 degree gimbal mounts. I have used these for 3 seasons and they have worked great. 1 set up has been completely upgraded to the extreme duty mounting plate and the other has the regular mounting plate. As you can tell from the pictures one swivel base has a chip in it on a corner. This has not affected it's functioning in any way. I am moving to using gunnel mounts on the new set up so I have no need for these. Please ask all questions before bidding and check out my other auctions for fishing gear and clothing.
