Had it for a number of years. Never used it. First season it took the ride with us every time. But the next spring it never got loaded on the boat and has sat in basement since. When we bought the boat we were told they were new down riggers. It is possible it may have never even been used! There is no base. It does come loaded with wire and swivel. Posted with

These downriggers can be used for offshore large game fish and work just as well inshore for smaller fish. I do not have the cable weights for the downriggers. Penn Swivel Matic downrigger swivel. Good used condition. Decal is a bit worn but otherwise functioning properly. This is the 180 degree swivel but has a spot you could put a stop screw into to limit travel to 90 degrees. Will include mounting screws for size but they should be replaced. For bid is the Pair of Used U.S.A. Penn Fathom Master Down Riggers pictured. Both seem to work fine. With an unknown amount of stainless cable. I plan on taking the poles off for safer& separate shipment. I disconnected the snap swivels from the cable which are included. Also included are 2 containers of#6 sleeves for re-crimping the snap swivels on the ends. The Fathom Master 600 has the built in rod holder and a pole length of just over 23 1/4" at the end of the roller tip. PENN FATHOM-MASTER 620 DOWNRIGGER. Steel cable& rod holder Great shape& clean. MADE IN THE USA. Heavy duty aluminum boom rod measures 50 inches from base to top. Spool measures 8 inches across. It looks about half loaded with steel cable. The rod holder is 11 3/4 inches long. The rod holder has some scratches in the gold paint and the red coated end. The spring loaded hold down that goes to the base plate moves smoothly and the threads are clean and complete. The base plate measures 4 inches by 4 1/8 inches. The interior of the base plate measures 3 1/4 inches wide. The drag and depth reels are in great working order. All the hardware is solid and tight. There are light surface scratches on the metals and plastics in accordance with age and use.
