Some of the wire has come off the spool on both sides, The reel still spins in both directions, nothing looks or sounds broken. Should be a easy fix for someone who used them. Good outside condition with no cracks, dents, has some scratches. Not sure of any missing, replaced, broken or non working parts. The boom will extend out but I have not tried it all the way. This is a Cannon Sport-Troll downrigger. That does not appear to work, but I may not be working it correctly,I am not that familiar with these type of downriggers. It cranks fine in one direction, but if I turn the handle the opposite way, the handle comes off. It is an estate sale find so please look at all the pics and ask any questions you may have prior to bidding. I had to remove the pole to get it into the box for shipping but that is easy to install. Canon Sport-Troll Manual Downrigger w/ Wire. Counter GOOD USED WORKING CONDITION! This manual downrigger is in good used condition and ready to go to work. The clutch seems fine and the counter is working. It has a 37” boom arm– measured from the forward point of the housing to the tip. The counter is on the end of the boom. I had forgotten about it in a move here until I started cleaning out my storage unit a few days ago. I live in New Mexico now and I just don’t have a use for it anymore. I couldn’t find the deck mounting plate for it so I suspect it may have stayed with the boat when it was sold. Sorry about that! I’ve seen several deck plates for a reasonable price here on eBay. Though. The funny thing is that this is the second downrigger I’ve found without a plate. Please see the pictures for a more complete description and don’t hesitate ... moreto ask questions or for more pictures if you can’t see something. I’m happy to help. But perhaps not the best photographer. I’m not sure what else to include in this description so please just ask! I haven’t used it on the water for a while. But I’ll guarantee it not to be DOA. In order to ship it I will dismount the boom arm and handle. It will allow me to ship it in a smaller box and save you some money.
