OLDER model meant for a boat but i purchased a brand new ice transducer last year and used it as a buddy flasher to loan to my freinds so they would stop asking to use mine when we were fishing! My freinds have mostly all since bought their own so i no longer need this. This does not have the exact same features as the newer ice flashers but marks the same. There is some cossmetic wear and the lights seem to be a little dim. May just need brushes, i dont know. Like i said the unit still functions and is useable. Vexilar FL-8 up for sale to a lucky fisherman. This is an older unit but still works flawlessly. In fact it marks clearer than my brothers fl-18. Everything works perfect and in good condition other than some cosmetic damage on the GENZ box. It is a little dirty from being in storage but will still put you on the fish. This is a great unit and I hate to see it go but I just don't get out ice fishing anymore. My loss your gain. Sold as-is and no returns.

Vexilar FL-8 Ice Fishing Flasher Contents: Vexilar FL-8 Hard plastic carrying case Puck transponder(I believe this is a 12 degree but not sure) The puck transponder typically gets mounted on a trolling motor. But you could use it for ice fishing if you're in a pinch. Does NOT contain: Battery(any vexilar/marcum-type motorcycle battery will work) Item has been tested in the water for usage and it works fine. You can use the puck transponder for ice fishing if you weight it. Or you can use a regular Vexilar ice-ducer. There is a small 1/4" crack in the plastic in the middle of the flasher. This is purely cosmetic- the flasher works fine. You could probably glue this back if you want to.
