Being made from solid metal and having a section around the outside to hang champagne coupes from. It was made for the 50 th anniversary of the house of Abel Lepitre. Which would have been in 1974. The company was formed in 1924 and after the death of Abel Lepitre on his way to a German prisoner of war camp; the business was taken over by his 14 year old son and his wife. Offered for sale is an Abel Super 10 Large Arber fly reel. T he reel is in perfect working condition and appears to have been very well maintained. I have included numerous photos so you know just what you're getting. No surprises here! Photo#4 shows the only notable blemish I found on this reel. The spool rim has some very minor scratches. Photos 6 and 7 are included to show that the reel foot is in perfect condition. What appears to be scratches on the reel frame in these two photo is actually some adhesive residue from a line label sticker. if I have time I will clean it off and add new pics) I don't have the owner's manual but the Abel website has all the information you would ever need on this reel. One sweet rig. This is the real deal. This set-up has been really nice to use but I need another boat so its gotta go. Rod tube and sock included but I don't have the Abel box or pouch I will include a generic replacement pouch. In my opinion there is no better med to small stream technical fly fishing combo. Born near Minsk, Regelson arrived in the United States as a boy of nine. Though his formal education was not extensive, he read voluminously and acquired substantial knowledge in poetry and philosophy. He began to publish poems immediately after World War I. Although mainly a poet, he also wrote philosophical essays and satirical sketches, and translated from English into Hebrew, and from Hebrew and Yiddish into English. During his stay in Ere? Israel in 1933–36, he wrote a regular column for Davar and contributed occasionally to Davar li-Yladim. The latter contributions were published in a book of children's stories Massa ha-Bubbot le-Ere? It is the only one I have that is actually signed by the artist in the upper left corner of the print in pencil. Condition: Very nice to frame though there are signs of wear and tear(along the edges.
