This reel has the beveled side covers and bares the serial number 760615 placing manufacture of the reel in 1976. This is a nice reel that functions flawlessly. Cosmetically. The reel hase some wer on the edges of the side covers and tips of the drag star. Despite the cosmetic wear, this is a solid reel that is suitable for fishing or adding to a vintage tackle collection. Garcia ABU Ambassaduer 30 big game trolling reel
This Ambassaduer 30 big game trolling reel was manufactured in 1976 by Abu of Sweden and marketed in the USA only for a few years. So it is rather scarce. Reel is inordinately heavy. At 54 oz. could be used for an anchor) mainly due to the fact that the reel is made almost totally out of Stainless Steel; the frame, the reel foot, the harness links and the spool(spool is solid SS that is chromed) are all stainless steel. The reel foot clamp with the awkward one sided bend(for safety line) and bolts are the original Abu hardware. The sideplates I think are Delrin and the rest of the parts are either aluminum or brass. The reel shows indication of use. But mostly finish handling wear due to it’s extreme weight. It was not used much at all, with no indication of corrosion anywhere. Reel functions are all as they should be and operate as new. ... moreNo tampering or servicing of the reel has been done. No damage, cracks, bends or replaced parts…everything is as it came from the factory except for the light cosmetic wear.

Vintage Abu Garcia Suveran S2000M + 2 Spare Spools -- Made In Sweden
Up for auction is a nice vintage Abu Garcia Suveran S2000M spinning reel which is made in Sweden. The reel comes with two additional spools- one aluminum and one graphite. The reel is in good condition aside from some oxidation on the stem and part of the frame as you can see. And a few scuffs.There is no oxidation or rust anywhere else though. This is simply cosmetic damage and it has no affect on the reel's function. Which is great. The Suveran reels are among the finest reels ever constructed. The gear box is virtually indestructible and the level of engineering is simply unmatched I will be listing another Suveran as well.

DAIWA 7600H, PEZON ET MICHEL SPORT AND ABU GARCIA BR5F BRUISER SPINNING REEL LOT
Here we have 3 spinning reels. The first one on the left is a vintage daiwa 7600H. This is a somewhat large metal reel. The bail spring may need replacing and it seems to crank a little hard, I think it may need a good lube job. The black reel is a Pezon et michel and it is the sport model. This reel functions fine. The silver reel is not to old and may only be good for parts. It is a abu garcia bruiser model BR5F. All I know is that the screw to hold the bail wire on is missing. I do have the bail wire there. I don't know if the bail will function properly even with the screw, but there are good parts on it. Any questions please ask. This is an excellent Abu Ambassadeur Swedish built Reel. Model no 1600C. I in excellent condition with only a very few minor marks. However there is minor scuffing on the rubberised reel handles which can be seen in photographs. Otherwise and excellent reel in fine working condition.serial no 040005 stamped in reel foot. Holds 145yards of 10lb line. A quality Swedish made reel. Sorry no box or bag.

Vintage ABU Ambassadeur 6000 Reel Made Soon After Record Ambassadeur 6000
It's hard to trace the early history of the Ambassadeur 6000 because most of the production records have been lost. Like the 5000. It started as a Record Ambassadeur and in 1957-1958 the Record engraving on the Side plate was changed to ABU. Many Ambassadeur reels have become highly collectible because ABU transitioned to a new model they continued to use parts from the previous model. Such is the case for the reel in this auction. This reel has the same Pearl handle. The same large capacity grey spool, the same 4 screw production, 3 external oil ports and no serial number as did the Record Ambassadeur. This reel operates very smoothly. It has a small amount of paint loss on the upper rims and very minor surface scratching.
