For your consideration we have a nice near vintage Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 6500 TCCM(Carpmaster) fishing reel. This is a FINE piece of fishing equipment. The name Ambassadeur says it all. Not to mention its a relatively rare model being a Carpmaster. The reel is in excellent condition and comes with its original box, instruction booklet, and extra accessories. The reel shows very little signs of previous use. I would condider it to be near mint.to my knowledge, it has only been used once. The reel is right handed and some of the specifications include: gear ratio 6.3:1, line capacity 14/245lb, and a weight of 11.5 ounces. It has 4 stainless steel bearings, instant anit-reverse, precision brass gears, line out alarm, and a smooth powerful star drag. Up for auction is a very nice Abu Ambassadeur 5500C baitcasting reel. The reel was made in Sweden and is so marked. There is serial number on the foot. Which is 750202. The reel is in excellent condition. As can be seen in the photos, there is no rash on the side plates on this reel. There is one tiny spot about 1 inch under the"High Speed" label on the crank side. It is about 2mm and I cannot feel it. I have tried to show it in the 1st and 2nd photos. Please take a look at the enlarged photos, as they accurately depict the cosmetic condition of this reel. Mechanically, the reel in in good working order. The action is super smooth and the release, level wind and star drag mechanisms work fine. It’s been used very little and has been well taken care of. The exterior is very clean. It has no signs of abuse such as scratches. Rubs, mars, etc. except for some boat rash on the handle. I see no screwdriver marks on any of the screws. All functions such as the reeling action. Drag adjustment, anti-reverse, bail, etc. work smooth, strong and sure.
