Abu Garcia 7000i, large capacity fishing reel
The 7000i has a large capacity and I think is a salt water or fresh water reel. Around here they are used on heavy rods for snagging spoonbill. This reel is in good condition and all works well. I currently have listed a set of Ambassadeur Record RCN reels. The 40, 50 and 60. Two are new in the box and the third is excellent in the box. All have a complete set of paperwork, oil tube and wrench. All pictures were taken outdoors, so dust particles are likely to show in the close-ups. This auction is for the Record RCN 50. I have listed this reel as used. But I'm confident it's never been fishing. There is one small area of bruises on the top of the right rim. See pictures 1 and 5) The reel operates as new. Two fine Swedish made Abu free spool bait casting reels. One is a model 5600AB and one is a larger 6600AB. Both have features that include metal construction. Star drag, easy thumb screw take apart, thumb brake, and an anti-backlash system. The 5600 is excellent overall. The 6600 has a tiny tab broken off the thumb brake and it won't stay in place. Otherwise, it also is excellent. Two fine reels for one bid. Replace the thumb brake on the larger one, and both will be ready to fish. Up for your consideration is an Ambassadeur 5000 3 screw in excellent condition. The reel has some small pin prick rash marks on top of the rims and a blemish on the non-handle side by the"A" in Ambassadeur. The chrome is bright and shiny. No pitting/rust. I took some closeup shots so please look carefully and judge for yourself it's condition. It also comes with the box which is in good condition. It has a tear mark on one side which seems to be intact. There is NO matching sticker on the bottom of the box. All the extras are in excellent shape, leather case, oil bottle, wrench, parts tube(not sure all parts are there) and manual(a little bent from being stuck in the top of the stryrofoam box) Mechanically the reel works great. Zebco ABU Cardinal 6-7 part 8631
replacement Part# 8631 for cardinal 6 and 7 reels Home made to repair those no longer available parts. I have made a few of these after I broke one on my reel and could not find the part. I have made them out of a bit softer plastic that has about a 325 degree melting point. so that they will bite on the knurl on the brass part. Even more if dipped in simmering water for a 11/2 min. after the brass is put in and the pinned as in the pics. as close to hot forming as we can do. I have also made them a bit bigger so ther stronger than would be but to fit and look like the old part. as much as I can. I held a tite tolerance, I drilled.005 under size fit to alow the forming to the brass. keeping these great reels working as they should. But mostly to get these reels back working. This lot contains 4 Abu Garcia spinning rods which were returns to Bass Pro Shops. They are all missing a guide or guide insert. Please look at the pictures and ask questions if necessary. I will do my best to describe the condition of the rods. Rod#1: Model: VRS66-6 6'6" Medium Heavy 1/4-3/4 oz. 8-14 lb. This rod is missing the bottom guide. The blank is in very good condition. But has a few scratches from handling. Rod#2: Model: VRS66-6 6'6" Medium 1/8-1/2 oz. 6-12 lb. This rod is missing the insert on the 3rd guide from the bottom. The blank has a couple of long scratches. The longest is about 3" There are a few others about 1" long. Rod#3: Model: VRS70-6 7'0" Medium Heavy 1/4-3/4 oz. 8-14 lb. This rod is missing the 2nd guide from the bottom. There are some minor scratches on the blank from handling ... moreand a few small areas where the finish is flaking off. Rod#4: Model: VRS66-5 6'6" Medium 1/8-1/2 oz. 6-12 lb. This rod is missing the 3rd and 4th guide from the bottom. The blank has a few small scratches from handling. Please note that these rods are sold AS IS. I have done the best that I can to describe them. I checked all of the reel seats and they all work. Also. I ship these rods in 4" PVC pipe in order to minimize the risk of damage. I also pack them with bubble wrap to keep them from banging around in the pipe. These pipes cost 8 bucks apiece, plus shipping, so the $19 I am charging for shipping is about 10 bucks short of my cost. Return policy: I offer a 14 day return policy. Ebussuud served as judge in Bursa. Istanbul and Rumelia. Where he brought local laws into conformity with Islamic law( sharia) Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent promoted him to Grand Mufti– supreme judge and highest official– in 1545. I have a used Vintage Abu Ambassadeur 5600C reel. This reel was sitting in a garage for the last 30 years. There are scratches and nicks from normal usage. But nothing that is deep or major. Looks a little dirty, but nothing a good cleaning wouldn't get out. Mechanically, everything on the reel works like it suppose to. Up for bid is a*Vintage Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 5000 High Speed. Level Wind Baitcast Fishing Reel* in excellent vintage condition. The handle. Lever, star drag, all are in great, smooth working condition. It has a beautiful(Gold Medalion) on the side of it. And it is cherry red in color with black trim& han dle. It is also marked: Made In Sweden. High Speed" and" Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 5000" The seat bottom of the reel is also stamped: 06-68. 0-68" and has a sticker which reads: Inspected By 6" It also has markings for what pound line& how many yards it will hold and should be used which is 12 lb/195yds& 14lb/180yds. This would be a great reel for trolling or casting from the boat or shore. It will work grea t without any problems or hassles. These vintage Abu Garcia reels were made with extremely high ... morecraftsmanship and are made to last forever as the inside mechanics are very heavy duty in these old reels. This is a great reel to start fishing with or will look beautiful with your vintage reel collection. The only flaws on this reel is that there are a few tiny scratches which do not take away from the integrity of the reel at all and does not affect it whatsoever.
