I purchased this Accurate reel new and used it to fish for California yellow tail and albacore tuna. I mated it to a Calstar 7' rod(listed separately on E-Bay) and spooled it with 30# line. This outfit worked great for fly lining sardines with a 1/2 oz. weight. The dual drag in this reel allows for a lot of pull on larger fish. This reel casts very well and does a good job flinging heavy jigs as well as bait fishing. Regrettably. I have moved to the Midwest and no longer salt water fish. This is an almost Mint condition Penn Accurate full conversion Jigmaster full size fishing reel. I has the accurate spool. Side plates, frame and custom handle to match, all the rod clamp parts are here. All in Jonny Cash black with gold lettering. Some of the lettering on the frame shows ever so slight wear. It has nary a scratch I can see and has been taken care of. I strapped it on an 11 ft rod with 4 oz to test it and it went the length of the football field and through the goal posts testing it out. On bearings this thing sings and is about all I can handle, its fast and smooth as new. I have never put this thing in the water since I had it built and needs to be used. Full of new 30lb line. Up for auction is a used Penn 146 with purple Accurate Accuplates and frame. This reel is is in very good condition with only minor blemishes to report. This conversion also features a newell spool and an aluminum power handle. The reel has been cleaned and lubricated after the last time it was used. It has HT 100 drag washers installed with all functions working as intended. The squidded Jr is a very collectable reel by itself but the accurate conversion in purple makes it much more rare and attractive. The frame and plates hold the reel in precise alignment and increase overall durability. Photos should be examined for item condition. There is very light wear on the reels feet where it came in contact with the reel seat. I tried to show this in the photos. Here's a large aluminum Reel Clamp for some large reel. It looks like an accurate clamp to me but am not exactly sure. Could also be a Tiburon. It's gold in color, anodized aluminum, just over 3.5" in total length, maybe a hair over 1-3/4" from center of hole to center of hole. It has the#3 stamped into the back. It has no scratches or rash at all, appear new but may have been used as its a little dirty around the holes. look at the specs and decide for yourself if this will work for your reel.would probably fit some 50 reel like perhaps an international 2 speed or what else.not exactly sure. I'm selling my Accurate Boss Mag 197 in 5:1 gear ratio. As you can see. This is one of the original or 1st generation 197's made. It doesn't even have a serial numer! VERY RARE 1st run reels. The left side plate name markings& the gear ratio are indented or pressed into the frame& not laser etched like newer models. It's an awesome little"big reel. Comes spooled with 40# red Powerpro. An upgraded handle& round knob that make it more efficient& easier to crank. Reel is in great shape with only minor blemishes/scratches(see close up pix) Drags are good& functions perfectly& the clicker is strong. I hear a light bearing noise. Gorgeous Accurate Platinum TwinDrag 130 class reel(Model ATD-130) and it is complete with rod clamp and nuts. Line capacity is 1,000 yards of.044 diameter 130 lb. mono or 2,500 yards of 200 lb. braid. This is a two-speed reel and the gear ratios are 3:1 for high and 1:1 for low. It is fully spooled with monofilament line and is ready to fish. Cosmetic condition is excellent proving that it was seldom used.
