This pair of SP-120-11 C Speaker Systems was enclosures formed as an extra-solid non-resonant configuration from thick particle board finished in a tidy low-glare black finish. The black grills are press-fit. They have no high-frequency-absorbing fabric. Instead the designers used an open-air hole-punch pattern through which high frequencies easily pass with little acoustic obstruction. This provides a pleasing aesthetic appearance without significantly compromising acoustic performance. Some of my photo flash illuminated photos show a clear view inside the grill. But in normal room lighting those grills block viewing the speakers. This pair was wall mounted and not touched except for occasional soft-touch duster cleaning. So they still appear about as they did when new. 95A14428 Speakers. That higher weight was required to make such low-resonance enclosures and of course the magnets are also heavy. This pair was used as part of our surround-sound system. They could be a part of many audio system configurations. They would be especially well fitting in professional business settings where clear accurate sounding speakers are needed but where speakers should not call attention to themselves. Each speaker system weighs 4 pounds 9.4 ounces. So shipping cost will reflect that weight plus suitable packing. In some things. Quality and weight tend to go together. Up for sale is a working Keuffel& Esser Aneroid Barometer from the early 1900's. I tested it's accuracy against local weather on the internet for the past month as the storms move across the midwest. The instrument is spot on. Glass has no scratches. No dents in the case. It is missing the ring fob.

This is a vintage 1960's John L. Chaney Accurate Darkroom Thermometer in very good usable/collectible condition. It measures approximately 8" in length. And has a hanging metal clip. It reads from 60, to 130 degrees with 68 degrees marked as the target temperature. This is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, or stains on the glass.
