This auction is for a vintage split bamboo 8' 6" fly fishing rod with an extra tip. Sock and tube, marked on the rod: ACCURATE- This quality vintage rod is fully functional and in excellent condition and appears just very lightly used. It does have a little tape near the end of one tip holding a thin splinter but is not broken through and a little glue and thread wrap should fix this. The other tip is missing some thread wraps by the lower ferrule but it is still well connected and presents no problems. The first section has some tape on the last line guide and this presents no problem either and just needs some thread wraps. The 3 piece rod weighs 4.8 oz. and the total weight in the sock and tube is 1 lb. 2 oz. The sock and tube are also in excellent condition with no damages. As always. There has approx. 95% of its original paint and Triner trade mark stamps and is still pretty accurate.
