Richard Ward Pedestal Clock - Very Accurate
The Richard Ward clock is suitable for a shelf. Mantel, table or desk. It is made of cast resin that looks remarkably like antique brass with a verdgris patina. The clock has a 5" dia base and stands 12" tall. Very solid and heavy for it's size, weighing 2 1/2 pounds. Excellent condition, no chips, cracks, repairs or other defects. Also, it keeps very accurate time. I checked the time against computer for 2 weeks, and it has not varied.

The lever itself performs just fine, clearing all amounts back to zero with very little effort. This machine performs its calculations accurately and with ease, as all of the columns spin very nicely. The outside storage cover(dust cover) shows quite a bit of wear. But it served its purpose for many years. My husband was in the typewriter business for 35 years and he’s the one that has had this for many years. He tested and verified that it all works. Runs strong and has been keeping accurate time on my mantle for over two weeks now. Blue screw model. Sticker on bottom notes it has been last serviced in August of 2007. Serial number is 53090; which dates this clock to the early 1950’s. Gold case is showing some rub marks and a little lacquer loss. There has never been a presentation plaque on this clock.
