ABU GARCIA AMBASSADEUR 6500 c SYNCRO COLLECTIBLE BAITCASTING FISHING REEL W/CLICKER This auction is for the pictured Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 6500c Syncro baitcasting fishing reel. The reel is a used piece with some scratches to the side plates and some boat rash on the rims. As for function it seems to work well. I’m not sure how the syncro drag system is supposed to work so I don’t know how to test its function. It may not be functional but as stated above I just don't know how to figure that out it is just something written on the reel that a learned fisherman would understand. The rest of the reel is in good shape with smooth feeling gears. A star drag that does tighten down in the traditional way, a even traveling level wind and a great clicker system. For your consideration we have a nice near vintage Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 6500 TCCM(Carpmaster) fishing reel. This is a FINE piece of fishing equipment. The name Ambassadeur says it all. Not to mention its a relatively rare model being a Carpmaster. The reel is in excellent condition and comes with its original box, instruction booklet, and extra accessories. The reel shows very little signs of previous use. I would condider it to be near mint.to my knowledge, it has only been used once. The reel is right handed and some of the specifications include: gear ratio 6.3:1, line capacity 14/245lb, and a weight of 11.5 ounces. It has 4 stainless steel bearings, instant anit-reverse, precision brass gears, line out alarm, and a smooth powerful star drag.
