Lubed with Cal’s Grease and Corrosion-X, and has new ball bearings and a new right side plate. Note that the new side plate is silver while the rest of the reel is Avet’s early champaign gold color. This reel performs like new with an outstanding free spool, strong, smooth drag and loud clicker. It has been fished and has some minor boat rash, but nothing to interfere with its ability on the water. This is a third generation LX, and is an outstanding 40# or 50# reel for live bait, jigs, or bottom fishing. Note that it comes with a rod clamp.
