I have a used custom wrapped Calstar rod in very excellent conditions. Just a few scratches here and there from normal usage. This is a one piece rod. There are 9 Fuji guides. This rod was wrapped by Jigstop of Dana Point. CA with a Calstar blank. Not sure of the exact model. Fishing season is here. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this rod. Great All American saltwater rod! Classic Calstar Quality in one of the all time loved color schemes. This was my go to rod for those lighter days when it was wide open in the 15- 35 range. Pair this up with a quality reel and you are the envy of the boat. 7' Long, Fuji reel seat, handle in great shape, all the glass and eyes are in great shape. Great Rod! Kids and the wife say the fishing days are over and I hate to see my stuff sit in the workshop not getting to catch the forkies. This auction is for a pair of fishing rods. The first is a CALSTAR. 700XH custom Grafighter rod. The rod was built using(9) Perfection WCGR stainless steel, braced guides and a Mildrum carbide tip. The butt section is 11 1/2 inches long and the fore grip is 13 inches long. The butt cap is a Truline, Type A, flared cap and the reel seat is a Fuji DPSD graphite,w/stainless hood. This rod was designed for 40– 60 pound line. The rod is approximately 7 feet in overall length. The second rod is an OKUMA, Blue Diamond, model BD-C-601 rod. This rod is approximately 6 feet in length. The butt section is approximately 12 inches long(including the gimbal) The fore grip is 13 1/2 inches. The reel seat is a hooded graphite seat. There are(6) guides, but I do not know what they are or the materials used. You might want to check the OKUMA website for more ... moreinformation. The rod is rated for 30– 80 pound line, but probably best suited for 30– 40 pound line. Both rods are in good, used condition, with minor boat rash/scrapes. Here is a superb Calstar Grafighter GFTR 760-L tuna rod- made in USA. The rod is 6ft. 30-80lb line, Aftco rollers, Aftco aluminum reel seat, aluminum gimbal. The rod is in superb condition just a few scratches on the blank. And a little scuffing on the bottom of the gimbal from storage. Any white streaks in the photos is just camera glare. Its in very good condition but did have a clamp on it right above the handle which messed up the clear coat in one spot and any questions please ask. Premier Fishing Rod Aftco Roller Guides Calstar Sabre Penn Seeker 50-130 Class
This rod has 5 AFTCO roller guides and an AFTCO roller tip. It is made by Premier. I do not know what the blank is. It could be Calstar. Seeker, Sabre or Penn. I have tested it and it can hold up to ANYTHING! It has GREAT action and it looks HOT! The gold anodized reel seat really sets it up beautifully. The seat is meaty so a small real with rod clamps will not fit on this stick. An Penn International 16 does not fit. My 30's, 50's, and 70's work great! I have a set of 4. I am planning on selling them independently but if you want them all let me know. I cannot see any sign of use. Everything is MINT. This is a great opportunity to get a great rod at a great price. Accurate SR50 fishing reel with custom Calstar Rod!!!!!
You are bidding on an Accurate SR50 Spinning Reel with Calstar TS GFGR 700XH S Metal Custom Rod. I used this rod/reel combo to slay big yellow fin Tuna. I have only used this rod/reel twice and they are in excellent condition. Both the rod/reel have been stored in my house and been taken excellent care of. I attached the original invoice as I paid over $1300 for this combo from CharkBait.com. Unfortunately. I don't use it enough so I am selling to the highest bidder. I will have to ship the rod/reel separately for obvious reasons but I will package these as they deserve and buy insurance as well. The reel is spooled with over 500 yards of 85lb power pro braid and 100lb power pro braid. I had a top shot of mono but removed it and put about 200 yards of 100lb braid on the top(the yellow braid in the picture) last month. The rod is also in great condition with some minor scratches just from being on a couple 60+ hour tuna fishing trips. Also I mark all my rods with a piece of red/cammo duct tape(pictured) This is just so no one tries to claim my gear.
