Quantum Cabo 70 with Calstar custom rod
Hi. I am selling my Cabo 70 with a custom Calstar rod. Both are used but are working fine. Grips are a little bit flaky. Great all around combo for just about anything from cobia to sails and tarpon. I have caught them all on this. Reel has just been serviced and is also full of about 400 yds or so of 50 lb power pro. Just don't have a need for this set-up anymore.

This is a great med/heavy casting rod. But mostly used for fly lining a bait or jigging due to it's shorter than the traditional casting rods which are 7' and up. Your looking at a Calstar Grafighter GFDH 800H Deckhand rod. These type of rods don't have reel seats, cork-tape handle only. Grafihgters are the best Calstar produces, they are made from both fiberglass and graphite which makes them very strong, but very light. This is a great rod for long casting baits, but stiff enough to fight a good size fish. Use this rod to fish in the 40lbs line class, match this up with a Avet JX or a Accurate BX and you have a good med/heavy fish fighter in your hands. This rod is used, but in excellent condition. Calstar Grafighter GF 600XL custom casting rod
This is a used Calstar GF 600XL custom rod that I wrapped in 6/96. The rod is 5 feet 10 1/4 inches long. And weighs 8.8 oz. The color is cobalt blue with orange trim. The guides are fuji hardloy BNLG, the reel seat is a fuji trigger DPS 20. The rear grip measures 10 3/4 inches from the back of the reel seat to the end of the butt cap, the cork fore grip is 5 inches, it has some pits, see the photo. The rod says Yo's Custom Rods, but it is not, it was only varnished there. The rod has my name on it, I can remove it if you wish, it will take 2-3 days to reapply the flexcoat though. The rod has not been used much, the rod is in pretty good shape besides the cork pits.
