It has two combinations(currently the left side is set at"2" and the right side is set at"8" It has a key to lock it as well. There is a separate key that winds the alarm. There is a weight on the bottom that sets off the alarm when you pick up the safe which can be tuned off or left on. The middle knob in the front opens the spring loaded lid and turns off the alarm.
