For sale is a beautiful vintage Fenwick PLB83 Ferralite steelhead or salmon rod. This 2 piece rod was made in the early 1970s and measures 8’ 3” in length. The serial number on the rod is G 93533. It is rated for ¾- 2 oz. lures. 8– 20 lb. line and weighs 14 ½ oz. I had all 9 of the rod guides professionally re-wrapped. The cork handle and reel seat with double locking nuts were cleaned and look almost new. This heavier old rod is ready to fish for strippers. Salmon or even sturgeon. You are bidding on a vintage Fenwick 2061 Lunkerstik 2000 fishing rod with serial number P276845 which dates this rod to 1976 or 1977. This rod is in good condition with the exception of a cut in the wrap of the third guide from the handle. This wrap is still tight and the guide is held firmly in place. All of the other guides are in very good condition. The wraps are tight and the guides are straight. There are a few light scratches on the rod and decals as seen in the pictures. The handle shows some signs of use and has light scratches which can be seen on close inspection. All of the pieces of the handle are in excellent working condition with no damage. This rod is straight as can be though the one photo gives the appearance of some sweep. There is NONE. Rod is rated for 10-25 lb. line and 5/8 to 1-1/2 oz. lures. This early Fenwick model FS88C has carbide line guides and tip guide. The cork grip, butt section as well as the tip secton show very minimal evidence of use. There are some very minor scratches on the rod surfaces telling me this rod was used some. All windings and guides are in original shape. Never been used in salt water. Reel seat still shines. Has original sock and rod tube. Rod tube has some sweep to it. this rod is in very good condition all guides are true no rust and the wrapping is in good order there are a few surface scratches and handle could use a good cleaning.on the rod it is printed SH962.It is a medium to heavy and has proved to be very good salmon pole
