The Tackle Shop that built this for me used a slightly larger piece of rod to make the sleeve for a two piece configuration. My recoll ection is the builder put the splice not too far from the grip so as not to affect the action on the rod. Which is light. Longer top piece is 4 2" Assembled the rod is 5ft. long. Nothing fancy on the whipping a s the fish can't tell right? On the close up of the grip, and at the top. hard to see) but there is a slight fla t spot in the cork. I'm not sure if the builder did that so it wouldn't roll or just what the reason was. The shop I got this at set me up at the time for Ultra Light with this rod for small fresh water. VINTAGE Fenwick PSU1265 10 1/2' SURF ROD 15-30lb
Rod purchased new in the mid-1970's and is good used condition. The Fenwick PSU1265 is a 10 1/2 ft. Surf Rod rated at 15-30 lb. test line. But when used with a thinner, stronger line, the limit can be much higher. 3-6 oz weights/lures. One very minor flaw is a piece of tape holding the center on one of the guides where a drop of solder should be(please see second photo) If you know how to use a soldering iron, you can fix it yourself. I haven't used it in more than 25 years, so I've had no need to fix it. The third piece shown in the photo(the handle of a PS100) is not included.

This is one of the beautiful old rods made by Jim Green before he went to Fenwick. Jim Green was a world fly casting champion and was also credited with developing the first Fenwick Feralite Ferrule. This rod has been professionally restored to a condition close to its original condition. The only part of the rod that could not be restored to a like new finish was the wooden handle which had stains that occurred when the rod was originally fished. Please look carefully at the rod and the quality of the work on the reel seat. Line guides and wrappings. Also look at the flecked color of the rod itself. Vintage Fenwick FS91C rod with original sock and tube. 9' 9 7/8 oz 5/8 to 21/2 oz lures. Early fenwick serial# E5205. Reel seat bright as it gets. Wraps are nice and slightly translucent. Both sections are equal length and bright glossy with minimal handling marks. Guides are good with tiptop showing slight discoloration. Plaid sock is clean with label. Tube is original and in good shape but the cap is not original. This rod was not used much. If at all. Collect it or fish it retro style.

This is a very nice fenwick 7 1/2 foot fiberglass fly rod. Weight is 3 1/4 oz. made for 6 weight line. The reel seat is good and tight. All eyelids are real nice. Never been repaired. The rod has the original sock. It also has the original case. But the top of the case is missing. I will tape a triangle of cardboard over it to keep rod safe in shipping. This is an auction for a rare vintage Fenwick 320 7 1/2' 3 3/4th oz fly fishing rod. This rod was produced between 1955 and 1962. Condition is excellent the only flaw I could find being a small flea size piece of cork missing at the bottom edge of the rod grip. The rest of the rod looks and feels like new. The protective cloth cover shows a little wear on the outside. The aluminum rod tube shows the most wear with scuffs. Scratches, dings, and wear consistent with a protective rod case which has taken the brunt of any abuse over the years.
