Vintage Winchester Store 9533 Large Fishing Tackle Box Rod Reel Line Lure Bait
This is an original. Vintage Winchester 9533 tackle box. This item was produced during the 1920's when Winchester Repeating Arms produced hardware and sporting goods for sale in their line of hardware stores known as Winchester Stores. This was the largest tackle box in the Winchester line with two removable trays, both of which are included with box. This is pretty unusual as many trays are lost, especially the small one in the lower compartment. The Winchester trade mark is painted inside the top lid. Condition is really very good considering the age and how the piece was used in life. There are the usual dents and scratches from usage, light surface corrosion(but no holes or feathering of the tin material) paint wear. Owner's initials painted on the front. But the original green paint is mostly intact as well as the interior black ... moreJapaning. Latches still work and the wooden handle weathered but intact. One Antique Salmon or Trout or Ocean Pflueger Reel. Is Marked on the Reel and it was Made in Akron Ohio. and a True Temper Trolling Rod. Montague Sixty Five Rod.Made in the USA But unable to read it.It is worn off. But the other same twin to this rod and reel is listed in my listings. I think these are old hand held trolling set ups. About 71 inches long total. Comes apart like it was not used much or stored very well. Reel has the very costly Stainless Steel Wire Line, Good for trolling or Ocean fishing. Buyer needs to read carefully all the rules described on page 34 in the Texas Parks and Wildlife outdoor annual fishing regulation. This package include a spool of 245 yards of 200 lb monofilament line with proper setting for 25 hooks and 18 floats. A rod holder and a self-made spoolholder is included for secure placing of the spool on shore. This design allow one to move the sail line easily along the shore line. I think it is an early Horrocks Ibbottson(1920s or 1930s) and it has a red bakelite handle. It has a click drag. The reel is loaded with vintage waxy and stiff line that I am pretty sure is silk line. The motor cover or"housing" is missing 3 screws. This doesn't effect the operation of the winder at all. Second, the yardage counter works but the reset button is hard to push but works.Third There is some oxidation on some pecies but does not affect the performance.This winder does have a REVERSE- OFF- FORWARD switch and a Low speed- High speed switch as well as a variable speed control foot pedal. Black Bear In Santa Hat w/Fishing Rod & Line Holding Rainbow Trout CABIN DECOR

This resin black bear is sporting a Santa hat and a plaid cloth scarf. He's holding a rod with line and a rainbow trout while sitting. He stands 4 1/4" high and is 3" across the widest point of the base. Please study the photos as I have tried to picture this from every angle to show that its in perfect conditon. A Santa came to our house one year and gave my son and daughter each one of these bears. They're grown and have been gone for years now. But I found these in an ornament container and thought someone might think they'd be attractive in a fishing cabin. On the bottome is a sticker that says Made in China for Magic Creations.
