In other words, the powder paint will look and feel like water at a slight boil making it easier to dip heated jigs and spinner blades into the paint and to allow a thinner, more even coat of paint. This will save time and money by using less paint per jig. Also. With a thinner coat there is less chance of drips forming during the final curing process. Jig eyes remain open and clear of paint. Once you use a fluid bed to powder paint your jig or spinner blades, you will never go back to the old way of dipping the jigs in a jar! The powder cup is removable so you could have multiple powder cups with a different color in each cup to make changing or mixing colors easier. The fluid bed comes with TWO reusable powder cups complete with lid. These cups are new and have never had any powder in them. To change colors in the powder cup. Simply dump the paint out of the cup back into the jar and wipe or vacuum out the rest. You can store the powder paint right in the cup. Item Photos, Hello and welcome to the auction.This is for a rare old original printed paper Irish fishing permit for 1896 dated 9th March 1896 from the Salmon and Inland Fisheries for a single salmon rod in the Cork District from Ballycotton westward to Galley Head which was issued by the Irish firm of W.Haynes& Son of Cork.It was printed by R.Acheson.Printer& Stationer,39 George's Street,Cork and measures approximately 17cm.by 14cm.The permit was amongst items from an old Farlow 191 Strand,London leather fly wallet which also held a Haynes packet with black japanned hooks to gut.The permit is made out to a H.S.Logan* of the 17th Regiment(17th Leicestershire) and is signed in ink'W.Haynes& Son'There is the embossed stamp of the Salmon Fisheries of Ireland,Board of Conservators. This would appear to be the same Captain ... moreH.S.Logan of the Leicestershire Regiment who was killed in action on 1st May 1908 of wounds received whilst commanding a detachment of Soudanese Troops near Mesellamin.Soudan.There is a monument in St.Martin's Cathedral which was erected by his brother officers in his memory. The condition is generally good.The permit has been folded and the centre vertical fold line is holding.It looks a bit fragile and when held up to the light there are a few very small light gaps along the bottom half of the fold.There is one small tear of approximately 1cm. to the left hand margin where the horizontal fold starts.There is a bit of age marking to the paper(less than the photographs suggest) and a small amount of loss to the bottom right hand corner bottom margin edge. This is believed to be plastic as you can see some eye sockets from the molded lure body. Any nicking is readily seen in our photos below as small white specks on the nice looking Rainbow. The right side has a small scratch or two just above the lip. This has a light hook swing on the right side A larger nick is seen near the tail on the right side. The top has a small impression and paint flake. There's a paint flake near the left eye. The lure displays best facing to the RIGHT. Crazing lines are running every which direction throughout. The left side has no nicking other than the small flake by the eye. The belly is in fine shape with a hook impression mark right near the hook hanger. The hooks are slightly tarnished.
