For auction is a used Lamiglas graphite fly rod model number IM909. It is nine feet long. In two pieces, for a nine weight line and weighs four ounces. The reel seat, handle, detachable fighting butt, guides, wraps and blank are all in excellent condition. The graphite blank has a designation of IM700. I have carefully examined the rod and could only locate the usual scuff marks indicating it has been used. There are no nicks in the graphite material and the cork handle is lightly soiled, but undamaged. The listing includes the rod, fighting butt, rod bag and an aluminum Lamiglas rod tube. Green silk wraps tipped in red custom wood grip and sapele maple on reel seat. Grip fits my hand perfectly and is very smooth. Rod has a soft tip for protecting light tippets. With reel attached has a nice balance and is not tip heavy. This is a very nice rod and the quality of the assembly is top notch. This is a fly rod I built on a LAMIGLAS 7' Fiberglass 3 WT blank- model FL783. See pictures of limited lifetime warranty on the blank from LAMIGLASS. I used white silk for the wrappings. As you can see from the pictures, to get a clear look around the single footed guides. This rod is in fantastic shape. I used it for a little over a season of brook trout fishing. Lamiglas kenai king 12-30lb rod. Like new. Shrink wrap handle grip protector is much more durable than tape wrap. Used once. Shimano tr1000 charter special lever drag level wind reel. In very good condition. Also hardly used. Reel was stored on fly bridge of my boat so the handle is slightly weathered. This is a great setup for big salmon.

This rod/reel combo has caught Mahi. Tuna, and Wahoo! Everything works as it should, and the rod and reel were cleaned after each trip. Loaded with 450 yards of 50lb mono, and comes with a neoprene reel cover.
