But lever is a little“floppy” Bail flips crisply and correctly and reel operates smoothly…no problem there. Serial number on foot of reel is A650540. Previous owners name is scratched on the bottom of the spool that’s on the reel. Scratches and hard residue on side of reel as pictured. Reel is for parts/and or repair and use. Not the prettiest one by far! Also included in the lot are five Mitchell spools that all will fit the 300. I’m not sure if the correct spools are in the correct cases. I have no idea of the line capacity of any of the spools whereas they all contain line. All need cleanup. One spool is in a metal case and one is in a clear sided case that has damage. In any event. Five Garcia Mitchell 300 and 300A Reels for Parts or Repair
These are 5 Garcia Mitchell model 300(3 reels) and 300A(2 reels) reels. All work. In all respects, and are nice shape. One 300A shows some corrosion on the foot. All have some scratches and edge wear. One 300 is stiff, and could use a re-grease and oil. To me, they are good reels in good shape for their age, and in good fishable condition. Some are better than others, so rather than trying to guarantee condition, I am selling them as-is. Resell them, break them up for parts, or fish them. If you have any questions. Feel free to ask, and I'll do my best. I do a little international shipping. On a case-by-case basis. I only ship internationally using Priority International, because of delivery and insurance issues.

You are viewing a beautiful pair of VTG Mitchell Spinning Reels. Models are rare and difficult to find. And include: 300( right handed) and 301( left handed) models. As they are both older reels. There is some tackle-rash noted on the 300 more than the 301. This is still a fantastic pair of very hard to find reels from France. Yes. Even though a bit aged, they are very well engineered pieces and both very fish-able reels. I have noticed that the 301 is a very rare tackle piece to find. The 300 and 301 models are the workhorses of the Mitchell line(in my opinion) T he reels will need their annual cleanings and some fresh reel grease and they will be ready to go. 4 Mitchell Spinning Reels 304, 300, 308A, 3000 + extra reel canisters, reels
This is one big lot of four(4) vintage GARCIA MITCHELL Spinning Reels. They are models#s 304(in original matching serial numbered box and owners manual and warranty card) 308A, 300, and Garcia 3000. All but the 3000 are MADE IN FRANCE. The 3000 was made in Japan. All have moving levers and rotating reels, and all have handles. None have broken external parts. These are complete with thier original dust, and oil-exactly as the came straight off the rods. I have not opened up any of them at, so I cannot make any guarantees that they all function. I highly suspect some of them do work perfectly, some probably need restoration, or maybe better used as parts or body sources. The 304 has its original box(serial numbers match the box to the reel) and all its paperwork. There is also an extra five(5) spare reels, all marked FRANCE, some with original ... moreline. There is also three(3) spare reel canisters, all Marked"Mitchell and France" Two of them are 2.5" diameter, and one is 2" in diameter. In addition to being an avid fisherman. The former owner was a retired US Air Force Colonel and former US ambassador to Norway after the end of WWII. This is a great Old reel need a really good cleaning- everything works- the bail spring is strong and the drag works fine. This rell features the short handle and is Made in france. It sat in my fathers garage for two many years. I have cleaned it a little bit and had the bail spring replaced. It does have some surface year- if you are as old as this rell you would also. Has the shallow spool so it does not hold a tom of line. I am 56 and remember trout fishing with 2 lb test with this reel. Great for using or for the collector. Shipping of 8.00

Mitchell 300 Sold with a spare spool an d a reel case, m ade by Mitchell in France circa 1974. Serial number D124105. This one is ideal to use. It's a lovely reel to wind but the paint is tatty so you don't have to worry about damaging it. The handle is unusual but the soft rubber grip is really comfortable to hold. In excellent working order. Smooth and f ree to wind with a lovely gentle purr f rom the gears. T he returns v ery well and the ticking optional anti reverse locks perfectly as does the bail lock. I think these each have slight differences from one another. They are being sold as is, one is missing a screw in the bail, that's probably an easy fix) some or all of these may need a little work to function properly, I notice only one of them locks into place to reel in one direction when switch is turned. Lot of 3 Vintage GARCIA MITCHELL 300 Spinning Reel FRANCE High Speed
Here is a nice lot of 3 vintage GARCIA MITCHELL 300 Spinning Reels. Manufactured in France. The issue with these are cosmetically as you can see from the pics. No other testing of the functions were done. Some of the springs are slow and reels are sticky internally. Probably needs a good thorough cleaning and l ubing. All of the pictures will show that these 300 reels have paint wear and scratches or nicks. These were found at a local estate sale& the guy had a great collection and I got a lot of reels so check back as I am listing all of them as often as possible. Condition Issues: Light scratches from handling. Paint chipping, crazing or cracking on paint, surface rust, scuffs. One of the handles spins or rotates in a way it's not supposed to.
