Offered here for your consideration is an ORVIS HLS Graphite fly rod. 9 feet long in 2 pieces, that weighs 3 1/8 ounces and is designed for#5 weight line. It comes with the two-pocket sleeve and metal case with a screw cap that originally came with the rod. The rod is dark gray or black with black windings. Its action is light to light medium. Although I have listed this rod as used since I don’t know its history, it shows no signs of use; the cork grip is absolutely unmarked and the rod is excellent. Offered is a vintage. Original, 1970’s ORVIS(Phillipson) FULLFLEX spinning rod in unused condition. The rod is fiberglass and measures 8 ft. long. It has 2 sections and tipover ferrules. The downward locking cork reel seat is 20 ¼ inches long which is great for long 2-handed casts. Recommended for lures ½ to ¾ ozs. This rod has a very slow and sensitive action that is very similar to a bamboo rod. The high quality aluminum rod tube is new from Landmark Components and has ORVIS graphics. The rod sack is also new.

Orvis landing net
Hi, Here is a older Orvis landing net. I bought this used about 4 years ago. My wife bought me a new net this year so this is just setting in my gear bag an needs to find a new home. The net is 23 inches long including the handle. The basket is 15" x 8" x 16" deep. The net is Marked Orvis an made in Canada. The net look like it is made from a cotton like twine. There are no rips but there are about 6 spots on the twine where there is a little bit of fraying. Not sure if that is just the ends of the net from when it was made or if there was a repair, the openings on the mesh are all equal so I do not think they are repair spots but not positive. Over all the net is in really nice condition for being older. I will carefully wrap it in tissue an bubble wrap for shipping. It comes from a smoke free home. Thanks for looking.

You are bidding on a wonderful RARE VINTAGE ORVIS 8 1.2' BAMBOO FLY ROD. I won this beautiful rod in a card game many years ago from an old gentleman. He had restored the rod and took off the original varnish that has the name of the rod and other info. It is an ORVIS BATTENKILL-which in looking at other Orvis rods makes perfect sense. The guides and windings are all excellent. The rod has nickel silver ferrules and the sections are nice and tight and make a good"pop" when taken apart. The 4 sections are all full length and perfectly straight. The cork is now varnished. The rod tips are excellent. I don't have a tube for this rod. For anyone who knows the T3 they'll know this is a great deal. I'm starting the auction at.99 cents. yes. You read that right. The rod itself is in exceptional condition. The only way to tell it's not new is the greying on the cork and a few marks at the real seat. It's only seen the water about 10 times. I bought it in PA. Where I fished a good deal, and then moved to Las Vegas, where I basically stopped. I've recently moved to MO and I'm trying to thin down what I own. It's been sitting in its case in the closet for most of its life. The exact specifications are: Length: 8.5 feet Weight: 3.375 oz. Line: 5 wt. I recall that this smaller version was recommended for trout fishing and the large one was recommended for salmon fishing. This one shows very little wear on the canvas and leather as can be seen in the images. It is in excellent pre-owned condition with no stains or odor. It can be used as a small travel. Camera, or sportsman’s bag. The bag measures approx. 16 in. X 5 ½ in. X 5 ½ in. It has an adjustable cloth shoulder strap. Purchased at an old estate sale. From a former avid fly fisherman. I have not seen this style before. I cannot find a makers mark, but I believe it is an ORVIS North Fork model. Condition is excellent, and ready to use. It likely was used in the past, but is ready to go. The metal handle slides up or down, and securely locks into place the hoop and handle when extended. To close just pull the handle back and fold it back on itself. To open, pull the handle back, and it snaps into place. Measures 22" long when opened, x 8" wide. Net hoop is 13" x 8" The net is about 22.5" long. Net looks intact, I dont see any holes in it. When folded up it is 9.5" x 4" I will include the old military belt worn holder, it fits fine, and was found together like this.I do not think the holder is original to the net.
