Hunting may be done within a ... morefew minutes of camp. Every care is taken to see that your kill is prepared and maintained in excellent condition. Moose hunting is our specialty.
Many of our hunters get their moose early in the week, so you may care to bring a little fishing gear to take advantage of our fine fishing - but please remember, the airways do require you to keep your weight down.
There are also bear, ducks, geese, partridge, etc. which may be taken within a very few minutes of camp. We would like to see you take home a highly rewarding bag of both game and birds.
MOOSE HUNTING RATES / FOR SEVEN FULL DAYS:
Including everything as listed under our fishing rates, PLUS ONE BULL TAG, OR COW TAG FOR EACH HUNTER (does not include hunting license). It is anticipated that parties may use mid-week check flights to move moose and reduce costs. We require that all the unnecessary weight of moose such as lower legs, hides, heads not for mounting, etc. be discarded.
Moose hunting is excellent in this area and the season opens earlier!
WE FORTUNATELY HAVE A GOOD SUPPLY OF BULL, COW AND CALF TAGS FOR THIS AREA, BUT THESE MUST BE ISSUED ON A FIRST COME BASIS! WE LIKE TO HAVE HUNTERS CONFIRM NO LATER THAN APRIL 1ST., AS THE SEASONS OPENS MID-SEPTEMBER IN THIS AREA.

Located 149 air miles north of Red Lake, Ontario, this beautiful outpost boasts two excellent large cabins, that will comfortably accommodate up to six and eight guests, plus a central building where you will share clean shower facilities, a flush toilet and freezer space, with only a handful of other guests.
For your ease of mind, we do have a 24 hour a day Satellite telephone located at each camp.
This is the perfect spot for medium size groups, and families, to share our magnificent scenery and incredible fishing for Big Walleye & Northern - away from the crowds, where we make “roughing it” so much easier. MANTRICIA LAKE OUTPOST
Mantricia Lake is approximately 12 miles long. This is “the spot” to have a private wilderness lake all to yourself, with exceptional fishing virtually at your doorstep even in July and August!
Located 145 miles north of Red Lake, Ontario - the cabin sits on a well protected island snuggled amongst the pine trees.
HORNELL LAKE OUTPOST
Hornell Lake is approximately 8 miles long and little Hornell is two miles long. Linked by the Warrington River, Mantricia Lake is one portage to the West and Warrington Lake two portages to the north - offering a unique, private and incredibly beautiful area to enjoy outstanding fishing, hunting and scenery.
Located 144 miles north of Red Lake, Ontario, the cabin sits on a beautiful island in the main lake.
Package Inclusions:
Rates include comfortable cabin accommodations, lights, cook stove, Bar-B-Q, fridge and freezer (all propane) , separate beds with pillows (no pillow cases), wood heater, all cooking and eating utensils, one boat and motor for each two (or three) guests, one tank of gas per day per boat, large nets, boat cushions and seats, round trip air fared from Red Lake and check flight during your week, weather permitting.
BAGGAGE INCLUDES
Clothing, gear, tackle, food, beer, soft drinks, etc. - anything a party will be bringing with them. To help with the necessary weight restrictions, a maximum of 25 pounds per person ( one case of beer, pop, etc.) that has been ordered at least four weeks in advance, will be delivered to your cabin prior to your arrival, and not be considered as part of the baggage allowance above.

We can say with pride that our fish cleaning station is the best on Lake Nipissing - equipped with fillet knives, cutting boards, running water, freezer service, and bags for your fillets. We also have fishing licenses, and live bait available as another convenient service to you.
The spring fishing season opens every Canadian May long weekend from mid-May to the end of June. Luckily for you, we have the best fishing holes right here in sheltered Callander Bay just off our shores.
The summer months of July and August continue to be a great time for pickerel (walleye) and also lead into the bass season. They may like the rocks, but we know which rocks they like and how to find them.
The fall season is the best time for sport trophy fishing of Muskie and pike. If you’re up for the challenge, your patience will pay off big time!

The pleasure craft operator card is NOT required for guests using or renting one of our boats; It is required for Canadian guests bringing their own boat.

PLEASE NOTE: The emergency boat kit is not supplied, and it is MANDATORY that you bring your own. It must consist of a 50' rope, whistle, flashlight and a bailing bucket.
