A beautiful rod. Cork is in good shape,its had some hooks in it, the rod had a scuff in the finish that i repaired. it did not reach the graphite. It is model IMS6990. The action is tight and the rod itself weighs 5.5 oz. It has caught its share of bone fish redfish and mid size tarpon. It did its service in the fl keys. Id keep it but my shoulder says i have to go down to a six weight. Its nine feet long is a 9wt. two piece, has two large primary guides of porcelain and ten wire guides. All in all a wonderful rod. I had the tippet replaced in 1998 by World Wide Sportsman in Islamorada when it was just a wonderful small pro shop. comes in a Penn International hard case,the zipper is a lil sticky. will come insured and sig required. Unfortunately I broke my back in four places. So my days of stand up fighting big fish are over. Up for auction is a Penn International 30 TW on Penn Tuna Stick Stand-Up 6' 30-80lb line class rod. The reel is backed with 300 yards of 80lb Power Pro with Sufix Hi-Vis 60lb monofilament on top of that. The reel has very minimal corrosion and hardly any boat rash. The drag is strong and smooth, the clicker clicks, and it has good free spool. The reel functions perfectly. The Penn Tuna Stick has a roller stripper and a roller tip-top and also has very minimal corrosion.
