Does have an issue: I broke a left side plate screw off in the front spacer. Impossible to drill out and Penn doesn't make these spacers anymore so it's missing a screw. The case is still nice and tight with zero movement but it is missing the screw. Does not affect function. All internal metal parts have a thin layer of reel grease. Gears have a little more liberal layer of reel grease, all case screws lightly coated with reel grease to ensure easy removal in the future. Bought this reel at a garage sale years ago and was surprised when I removed the old line. It has the most corroded spool I have ever seen. But I put new line on it and the reel turned out to be my favorite. Smooth drag. Full gears, good bearings, and no internal damage from salt. The spools are very thick material. Here is a Penn 209 in very good clean condition. This reel cranks in good. The star drag adjustment tightens up quick, the line release lever works good, and the clicker is loud. I have a used Penn Torque TRQ 30 reel. This is a right handed reel. Cosmetically. There are scratches and nicks all around from normal usage, but otherwise in very good conditions. Mechanically, this reel is a 10/10 for very little usage. Everything on the reel works like it suppose to. The handle cranks smoothly, while the free spool spins freely. The clicker clicks loud, and the drags tighten and loosen like it should. This reel is made in the U.S.A. Comes with the rod clamp. T here is absolutely nothing wrong with this reel. Penn 330 LD reel. Very nice condition, EXCEPT for line cut in cross bar. See pics 4,5,and 6. Somthing went wrong here, somehow, nicked the cross bar in numerous places and cut into it as shown. If I had to guess, I'd say someone put the reel upside down on the rod to use it left handed. Still a decent working reel. No box.
