It has nice jewels and a ... morenice finish. The reel itself is in beautiful condition: level wind. Anti-backlash, satin chrome finish in its original box. The reel works fine, and has a strong clicker. Accompanying it is its owner's guide and a new E-Z-GRIP Comfo Ring no. 430 and papers as well as a new set of handle covers no. 410 in their own box. Needless to say, time has dried out the original rubber and also the newer set of cover and handles, but it's nice to have a second set and the box to complement the reel. The handle cover box is in pretty nice and colorful condition. The fishing reel box is solid but is missing a strip on the tip where someone must have put some tape.

Very nice old combo- as found condition- could use a cleaning- click works but I don't know enough about this item to say everything works properly. The reel turns forward and backwards- I thought it should have some type of anti-reverse. But then again I don't know. Both glass' on the end caps are in good condition as are the handles. I could find no ID on the rod- 54" overall length. Cork handle with plastic end cap on cast metal handle. The rod itself is fiberglass with all metal guides- everything is in good condition and shows normal wear for its age- worn paint, nothing broke or damaged. With only a few tiny pointers or pin-point nicks that are dust size you can see in pictures. the larger white spots are camera flash) The left eye has a non-impact hairline in it that requires a magnifying glass to see. Very handsome bait that displays very well. I have included pictures with and without camera flash to better show the baits slick wet looking sheen when applicable. White spots are camera flash unless otherwise described and should be much easier to decipher this way. For auction a vintage advertising poster for the Pflueger Co. of Akron Ohio. The poster measures 9 1/2 x 13 1/2 inches. It is a period chromolithograph.Not a reprint.
