Fishing Reels Spin Cast Freshwater Saltwater Vintage Diamond Shakespeare Penguin
3 Fishing Reels. One looks vintage it is a Diamond Super Deluxe 730. Another one is a Penguin SX201 and the last one is a Shakespeare Sigma 200A. The Diamond is in has wear and tear but appears to reels fine. The Penguin as no handle but spins fine and the shakespeare has a very loose handle i cannot tighten but does spin fine. LOT 6 MITCHELL FISHING REELS: Saltwater, 324 W/ Box, 306, 410, 301A, ? working.
Lot of 6 Mitchell. Garcia Mitchell Reels. As best I can tell they are all functional although some are sluggish, missing paint, loose. Described below. 1. Mitchell Saltwater- No number that I can see. Serial number A34657. It seems to be functional although the bail is loose so when you crank it the bail hits the handle of the reel. It is missing some paint. Maybe 20-30% everything else looks OK. 2. Garcia Mitchell 324 with box. Instructions, guarantee, and advertising paperwork. Serial number on box 151651 matches reel serial number. The reel seems to be in great working shape. There is a bit of paint missing on the part of the reel that hooks on the pole. The other odd thing is that the spool is grey plastic and is kind of faded. It looks different from the rest of the reel. Not sure what that is about. It is marked"model depose" ... moreclearly Mitchell but different. One corner of the box is split and there are some dings, and punctures to the cardboard. 3. Garcia Mitchell 410- Seems to work well. There is some paint missing maybe 30-40% Spool. Bail, handle all seem to work well. 4. Garcia Mitchell 306- everything seems to work well although when you crank it. It seems to have increased resistance.does not spin completely easily. it has serial number#0110744 on the base. 5. Mitchell 306A- This reel seems to be in really good shape. no paint missing. Spins easily, serial number#210507 on the base. 6. Last is unmarked Mitchell- Not sure model. 20% paint missing. The clicker part does not seem to engage. Spins easily. Everything else seems OK. The Penn No. 155 has a crack in the Bakelite across one end of spool, the Immec 22-P has a plastic piece broken off/missing on one side and a crack travelling from screw to edge on the other end(see pics) Both spin easily and lock. They were taken care of, found well-lubricated from a collection of other old reels(see my other listings) Red knobs on handles are very good with some minor scuffs/scratches. Chrome on IMMEC excellent with a few minor scratches, marked Made in Japan 4514, measures 3-1/4" across at widest point. I think it is a 250 yarder because the piece that connects it to the rod is marked 250. It appears to work okay. The Penn 180 appears to be working okay. The Penn Peerless isn’t all there. You are bidding on a lot of 6 Penn Saltwater Fishing reels. The models are 9 peerless. 78 Sea Scamp, 85 Sea Boy, 209 Peer, 267 Long Beach and a 350 leveline. Front row left is the penn 9. It will hold 275 yds of 15 lb mono, with a 3.4:1 gear ratio. There is a small amount of brassing and the Levelwind mechanism is missing. Center front is the 78. It will hold 200 yds of 36 Dacron, with a 3:1 gear ratio. No chips or cracks in the Bakelite sideplates, and some brassing of the crossbars. Front right is the 85. There are no chips or cracks in the Bakelite sideplates. The chrome is excellent. It will hold 400 yds of 20 lb test mono with a 3.1:1 gear ratio. Back row left is the 209. It will hold 350 yds of 20 lb test mono with a 3.75:1 gear ratio. It is in very nice shape. Center is the 267. It too is in very nice shape, with a 1 piece graphite ... moreframe. It features a 2.5:1 gear ratio. Back right is the 350. It will hold 300 yds of 30 lb mono, with a gear ratio of 3:1. It has no chips/cracks, with minor brassing. Vintage Pflueger Fishing Reel No.1976 Saltwater Trolling Deep Sea Fishing Reels
Up for bidding is a Pflueger Ohio Model 1976. It is bakelite. You can't see on the end plate the words Patented and Pat's Pend. and on the foot is a"B" Marking on front plate is visible in picture. This is a saltwater reel in good condition. There is some saltwater wear on the pillars and inside of the plates. The black bakelite end plates and all markings are in excellent condition. The knob may have been replaced. All pictures I've seen were wood knobs. Everything else on this reel is exactly like the pictures. It has a Barracuda leather thumb tension. I assume this was an aftermarket addition but I don't know. The drag and clicker are in excellent working condition. This reel comes from a large collection of reels and lures I bought here in Florida. I rely totally on reference material and basic knowledge on how ... moreto use a reel. Up for bidding is a Abbey& Imbrie Sea Bright reel. I don't know what time period these were made. When they were purchased by H-I the name was still used on some reels. When you hold the reel it has a very nice old feel to it. You might not be able to see on the foot"Made in U.S. and" 250" This is a saltwater reel in very good condition. There is some of the silver coating has rubbed off showing the brass. There is two very minor chips on the edge of the front plate. The owner must have taken really good care of this reel. There is no saltwater stain/damage on the reel. The knob is wood. There are no splits or cracks in the wood. It has a nice hard clicker. This reel comes from a large collection of reels and lures I bought here in Florida.
