While this"is" a used reel. It has been completely refurbished by ReelSpeed South, side plates are flawless and frame was reconditioned and painted with two coats and 3 coats of clear coat. All part used in this reel were inspected for quality, the bearings are new(ABEC5 SS) The drag is a REELSPEED signature drag system which incorporates 3 carbontex washes. With thin special stainless washers, and a special compression washer. This increases the drag from a single piece drag of 8-9 lbs to 14lbs! Thats up to a 60% increase in drag. With three carbontex washers the drag is flawless and smooth as any $400 reel. Condition of the reel is as close to new as you could find anywhere.
