Up for auction is a pre-owned Shimano Bantam 100 SG reel and a Shimano model SC10533 rod combo. The reel is in excellent condition and was well taken care of. Other than some very minor light scratches in the chrome this reel looks beautiful. This is all chromed out with some nice scroll work on the left sideplate and the top edge of the right sideplate. The handle has the paddle knobs for a more comfortable grip. This reel came out in the late 70's and was discontinued in the mid 80's. This reel has a gear ratio of 4.7:1 and weighs 7.7 ozs. This reel can hold from 4lb to 14lb test line. This reel spins smooth. The freespool engages and spins smooth. The line guide operates the way it was designed to. The bottom of the foot reads Shimano product of Japan FK. This reel has it's original box and will have to be shipped seperately ... morebecause it will not fit inside the tube I will be shipping the rod and reel in. The box is in very good condition with what looks to me like reel grease stain on the bottom and also some numbers were written on the bottom. The left flap when you open the lid is missing. The Shimano model SC01533 medium/heavy action 5' 6" 10-20 LB Line. 3/8-3/4 oz lures. This is a matching rod for the reel. It is chromed where the reel will sit. It also has the scroll work like the reel has. This rod has 6 guides including the tip. It is one of the smoothest, well balanced spinning reels I've seen. This Symetre reel is roughly 5" long. The front of the spool is about 1 3/4" wide. There is very little wear. You will have to take a close look to find any. Everything works fine. It is spooled with what appears to be 6 to 8 lb. line. I don't know the brand. The line is in good shape. Shimano TLD15 Reel What A Deal!
This is a Shimano Triton TLD15 reel in excellent working condition. A few scuffs. But nothing major. It is loaded with new 40 lb line. These reels are a real work horse and require very little maintenance. I fish in La Paz mainly for Dorado, and a lot of the pangero's use these reels. I have pulled in a 55 lb bull on one of these TLD's. This is a great price on this reel! I have another identical reel on another auction, buy them both and I will combine shipping.

Hello. I bought this reel new. Sorry a couple of pics are fuzzy. I retired in the desert so Trout and Kokanee are my targets now. I used this reel maybe two times in the Columbia River near my old home for Chinook Salmon in fresh water anchored up. It is full of 290 yds of Mono 25lb. Maxima Cameleon line. No rust, scratches and has never been apart. I have 45 reels and poles so some have to go.I have other reels going away on other auctions and I will combine shipping if you buy more than one. Very nice smooth working reel. It needs a home that uses it. 5.2:1 gear ratio for a fast retreve. Aluminum Frame. Titanium Drag. Bid with confidence. My feedback rating says it all. Thank you

Vintage Shimano TwinPower 4000 GTX Rare Fishing Reel
Up for sale is a Classic Twinpower 4000 GTX made in Japan. This reel dates back to the early 90's and sports some of Shimano's early designs such as the first edition of AEROWRAP line Oscillation(worm gear) and also shocked to see a double spool bearing design. I recently opened this reel up and removed all the old wax like grease and hand polished each individual part then given a coat of fresh precision blue grease. This reel does not have the Super Stopper ARB bearing as it was before its time but a very reliable anti reverse Dog design which the clicking can be both heard and felt while reeling the reel. The reel also dates back before they corrected the slight wobble as all old reels have had but its still way ahead of its time. Also this reel boasts over 20lbs of drag(8kg) which is huge for an early 90's spinning reel. This ... moreis a very rare Japanese TwinPower and new back then was almost $300. It would make a great collectors reel or can go back on the water tomorrow on a vintage rod. Sorry for the story but id like to share what exactly this reel is besides a short"here's an old reel" But in fact it's a part of Shimano's fishing history.
