Shimano Stradic 2000FG spinning reel, early model with wood handle
Offering for sale a used Shimano Stradic 2000FG spinning reel with spare spool. Washer pack, original box and all paper work including unused warranty registration card. This reel was used for a couple of seasons only for smallmouth bass. Probably only about a couple of dozen times. Reel is in very good condition with minor wear on the reel foot where it attached to the rod and a couple of very small nicks from use. The spare spool had line put on and if I recall it was never used. Washer pack remains unopened. Reel has not been used in about 6 or 7 years. I spin fish very rarely, fly fish almost exclusively, and I have a vintage Cardinal 4 that I am keeping to use when spinning so this reel definitely needs a good home and needs to be used. When I used it the reel was an outstanding reel that performed flawlessly. When it was purchased it ... morewas arguably the best spinning reel for the money.
