Legendary Shimano 4000FG. There are later model reels and plenty of other spinning reels out there but this is the reel that stays in the running. Reel has had VERY little use. Maybe once or twice. Original box and instruction book. Don't remember just when I bought it but I know it was only used on one short trip and then went into the tackle closet. Good used condition but these reels the back reel lock does not hold all the time. I have been told they just need cleaning as otherwise the reels function smoothly. They all have the double paddle handles and come with only 1 spool each. The Symetre 1000 was just spooled with Fireline Crystal 4lb diameter 10lb test line this year. These are all front drag reels. I didnt want to pay to get these cleaned or repaired and bought new ones so if your handy these will be great reels. Here is a superb Shimano Biomaster 2500 spinning reel-made in Japan. The JDM Biomaster falls somewhere between the Stradic and the Sustain. It has all the features of the Stradic and then some. It is a bit lighter and it has a titanium lipped spool. Which is very rare nowadays(the spool lip on the Stradic is simply anodized) The handle knob was upgraded to a dual bearing eva knob, and the drag was upgraded to Carbontex. Upgrades cost around $40. The reel is in perfect condition since it was only used a handful of times in freshwater. Also included is the original box, reel pouch, spool shims, and paperwork. This is a Shimano Stradic 4000FI spinning reel that is in nice operating condition. It has a silky smooth retrieve. The drag is smooth and the bail spring is strong and works well. It does have some wear on the reel, but not great wear. I WILL SHIP THIS ITEM TO ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. EXCEPT CHINA.
