One is a custom made rod on a Sabre blank made by"The River Rat" of Arizona. Both rods are in excellent shape, the wrapping is still intact with no unwinding or deterioration of the epoxy. Guides are straight with no rusting. The tip of one rod appears to have had the guide re-epoxied, but no damage to the blank. The hypolon is still soft after 30 years. Found this 2 piece rod at a yard sale in the OBX. It is in good shape. Has all of its guides, but the top part of the rod is white and the bottom half is creme color. I have had a set of 370/470/570 for a while but never used this one much. Would work for tarpon and sharks and the like. Signed'Wayne Wilson' just above the original lettering, the word'Conolon' is worn off on the upper part of the label but you can still read'Companion Fiberglass Spinning Rod Chas,Garcia& Co. Inc. The wraps are tight and the guides are straight. The cork is in good condition with a small number of nicks. There are a few scratches on the blank. The rod has a lot of flex and a parabolic bend.
