Offered is a vintage. Original, 1970’s ORVIS(Phillipson) FULLFLEX spinning rod in unused condition. The rod is fiberglass and measures 8 ft. long. It has 2 sections and tipover ferrules. The downward locking cork reel seat is 20 ¼ inches long which is great for long 2-handed casts. Recommended for lures ½ to ¾ ozs. This rod has a very slow and sensitive action that is very similar to a bamboo rod. The high quality aluminum rod tube is new from Landmark Components and has ORVIS graphics. The rod sack is also new.

G Loomis Escape Series Travel Spinning Rod. 7'0" 3 piece light action. I purchased this rod in September 2012. Used it twice and decided it was a little stronger action than I needed. I have since purchased the ultralight model. I can tell you that this rod is super senstive and powerful, so it makes a 4" panfish feel great and also has enough backbone to land some sizeable largemouth bass. Rod sock and case included. Rod is in great condition- there are some minor scratches on the butt section male ferrule and about halfway up the blank. I sent photos to G Loomis and their repair department said that these are strictly cosmetic and do not hinder the rod's durability or performance. Here's what G Loomis says about this model: A 7’ light-duty spinning rod rated for 4-8 pound line and lures from 1/16 to 5/16 ounces. It ... moremakes a good choice for trout.
