Rod is in pretty good condition. All eyes are tight and sets securely into handle. The plate at end of handle needs to be tightened. Screw that holds reel onto handle tightens and holds reel secure. Zebco 33 spinning reel comes with original box. It also has paperwork. Box is in good shape with no split seams. Reel does have some paint scrapes, but seems to work fine. pics were taken inside with flash, so colors may seem a little brighter than they actually are. Vintage Crack 200 (Luxor 3LA) spinning reel
Vintage Crack 200 spin reel This spin reel was made in France in the 60s& 70s& wieghs 17.5oz. It will hold 225yds. of 15lb. test. It is in fairly good condition but shows paint wear and age. Heavy on the rotor cup and foot, and the knob looks repaired but works fine. It has a bronse colored metal body. Smooth drag, good anti-reverse, good bail and the gears are good. This reel has a 3.8/1 gear ratio and is a strong& good quality reel, it is a grade 7+/8+. It comes with an anodised spool in very good shape, and is essentually the same as a Luxor 3LA which it replaced. If you are not happy with an item. Returns are fine but the buyer pays shipping. The reels I sell are 98% used. And in between 20& 100 years old. Most are far from perfect, so I some times use the Orca grading system, the first no. is how it looks and the second ... morehow it works. A 5/5 would be for parts and a 10/10 would be new. You are viewing a beautiful Collection of VTG Mitchell Spinning Reels. Models are rare and difficult to find. And include: Mitchell Spinnete. 300, 302, 320, and 324. This is a fantastic collection of very tough to find reels from France. Yes. They are aged but well engineered pieces and all very fish-able reels. I have noticed that the Spinnette(upper right corner) is found in many Museums around the world. And seems to date back to around 1954. The 302 is a nice(larger) surf reel and the 300 of course is the workhorse of the Mitchell line(in my opinion) The 324's and 320's are for lighter rod actions and also very nicely engineered. Some of the reels may need their annual cleanings and some fresh fishing reel grease. Please ask any question prior to auction close and I will get back to you with answers. Good luck bidding.
