UMCO 2000 UPB possum belly tackle box green
UMCO 2000 UPB possum belly tackle box Outside of box in excellent shape. No cracks, no chips. All latches are good and work properly, all revits in place. Inside of possum belly bottom section is stained with what looks and feels like brown paint, no cracks or chips. Inside of box, trays on the five shelf side are in near MINT condition but are dusty. Two of the compartments on the 4 shelve side have worm burns that are on the surface only, not deep or large. Other trays on the 4 shelf side are in EXCELLENT to MINT- condition. Bottom on the inside of box is dusty, no chips or cracks of any kind. Overall this box is in great shape. I tend to overpack my boxes. They end up being large and well protected. Old Sears Tackle Box Diamond in the ruff this box found at an estate sale in used but surprisingly good condition. Green plastic unknown age guessing late 60s maybe to mid 70s two shelf’s. The brackets holding them up says Marine Stainless. The underside of the lid has a little bleached area and in the bottom there is what appears to be hardened glue area and some light scuffing in the trays. Vintage Wood Fishing Tackle Box w/ Brass Corners & Hardware, divided tray insert
Up for auction is a vintage fishing tackle box with divided tray and brass hardware and corners. Likely made by a craftsman or in a shop. Rather than factory made. The case weighs a bit over 7 pounds, and measures 13 7/8" long, 7 5/8" high, and 8 7/8" front to back, approximately. The hinges, handle, corners and latches are brass, as are the small wood screws. The handle appears to have been a later replacement, maybe heavier duty, with steel screws. Some aging and patina to the metal. The wood appears to be possibly fir plywood, a common material in this area(Pacific Northwest) The tray has eight compartments, with six dividers made of thin masonite. The tray is 2" deep, and each divided area is approximately 2 7/8" x 3 1/2" Since these dividers can be easily removed, you can reconfigure the tray to fit special ... morefishing plugs and lures. Outside of box shows some normal dents and wear, with more wear understandably on the bottom as well as a narrow crack in the bottom side of the plywood, not carried through to the opposite side of the inside. Similar crack on the inside of the top/lid, which is not carried through to the outside(top) of the lid. This is a great piece to use, or to use for display! Old Thomas Museum Series wood tackle box measures 15"X9"X8 1/2" It has two trays plus the main compartment. I have seen these go for quite a bit in mint condition. This plano tackle box is 15" high. 15" wide, and 10" deep. It's used but still in good shape. Latches and handle all good. The top opens to a storage compartment that's 3 3/4" deep. The front opens and has 3 slide out trays that measure 14' X 8 3/4" X 2' All 4 compartments are filled with fishing supplies, some used and some new still in their original package. The top compartment contains an assortment of new hooks sizes 1 to 4(some with steel leaders) Spoons, jig heads, rubber jig bodies, a herters fillet knife with wooden handle and an 8 12" blade with leather sheath, a fishing line knot tyer, and 9 assorted lures. Tray 1 has an assortment of spoons and spinners. Tray 2 has a mixture of lead sinkers. This is a rare old fishing tackle find from a long defunct fishing tackle store in central Minnesota. The box contains 3 old metallic blue ceramic cartridges and 1 valve for the cartridges. These cartridges when dropped into the minnow pail would bubble for hours and hopefully keep those expensive shiner minnows alive.
