We purchased it primarily for the abundance of bear and moose in the area, but I've spent a lot of time up there so far this summer finding and setting up bear baits, and in my down time I've done some brook fishing to catch a few brookies for supper, I have to tell you honestly this is the best brook trout fishing I have ever experienced, anywhere. More often than not I catch very few if any"trash" fish, i.e. perch and chubs. These trout are not your average 6" skinny brook trout that requires a whole limit full to feed one person, these are 10"13" fat healthy trout, that put up a heck of a fight on a fly or light tackle.
